Cenotaph
Cenotaph - A Dead Man's Chest plugin
Version: 3.0.1
Plugin Dependencies
Lockette (Optional) OR LWC (Optional)
Cenotaph is a fork of the most excellent Tombstone by Drakia. I decided to take it up and add some features I wanted (and that some users on the forums have requested).

What's a Cenotaph?
A Cenotaph is a monument to a dead person who is either buried elsewhere or whose body is not available for burial. If you think about it, it exactly fits the situation - there's no body, since you've respawned ;)
Features
When your players die, depending on how you have things set up, their items will be placed in a Dead Man's Chest for safekeeping. You can require that your players carry around chests and signs of their own at all times, or simply have the chests appear on death. You can also secure the chests with LWC3 or Lockette.
Detailed Feature List
- If the player is carrying a chest when they die, place that chest and fill it with as much of their inventory as possible
- If the player is allowed, and is carrying two chests, a large chest will spawn to catch all of their inventory
- Possible for specific groups/players to be given free chests with no need to carry one with them
- Any items that won't fit in the chest will still drop to the ground!
- Supports the Permissions plugin, will default to allowing everyone to use basic cenotaph if not available
- Supports LWC for chest AND sign protection if it is installed
- Supports Lockette for chest protection if it is installed
- Configurable timeout for LWC unprotection
- Configurable timeout for destruction of cenotaphs, works in unloaded chunks as well
- Quickloot support, right click the sign on a cenotaph to loot all items in it (your chest only!)
- Place a sign on top of the chest stating the players name and time of death
- The ability to point your compass at your cenotaph
- Customizable sign messages on the cenotaph
- Admin commands for management

Configuration
See the default config file on Github for annotations and explanations.
Config notes
- If you are going to be giving your players a free chest/sign, but don't want them to be able to retrieve those as extra items, set the noDestroy option in the Cenotaph config file.
- If you do set the noDestroy option, it is highly recommended that you set a timeout for Cenotaph removal, because even once LWC is disabled the chest is still not destroyable by any means other than quicklooting it or an admin with permissions breaking it.
- With noDestroy enabled, if a player dies without a sign, then their chest will be indestructible until it is removed by Cenotaph itself.
- It is not recommended to use the noDestroy option without the destroyQuickLoot option

Credits
@Drakia: Cenotaph was originally Tombstone, by Drakia (TheDgtl). Many thanks to him for his hard work on the original plugin.
@Acru: Thanks to Acru, the developer of Lockette, as well. His help getting the Lockette integration working as I stumbled by way though picking up Java was invaluable. :)
Commands
/cenlist - List all your cenotaphs
/cenfind <index> - Gives you a direction from your current location to your cenotaph and sets your compass to point at it
/ceninfo <index> - Tells you how much time is left before the specified cenotaph has its protection remove or it breaks
/cenreset - Reset compass to point to spawn
/cenadmin list - List all players who have cenotaphs spawned
/cenadmin list <player> - List all cenotaphs belonging to <player>
/cenadmin find <player> <index> - Show details on <player>'s cenotaph <index>
/cenadmin remove <player> <index> - Destroys <player>'s cenotaph <index> and drops its contents on the ground
/cenadmin info <player> <index>

Changelog
[Version 3.0.1]
- Add option to disable Dynmap
- Fix error on shutdown when Dynmap is not loaded/enabled
- A few minor improvements in speed/efficiency
- When used without an index number, the find and info commands now default to the last (most recent) cenotaph instead of giving an error message

@Kaiemi
I'm glad the large chests started working again. Unless a player is granted a free chest or sign, as of right now, they're not supposed to get a chest or sign back. It's used in the creation of the cenotaph. I'm planning on adding this as an option in the cost/economy features of a future release.
I am having a small issue. I have the plugin setup to allow the use of signs and large chests. The problem is that when someone dies, it does not create a large chest (even when they have 2 chests in their inventory on death). The second chest vanishes (it is not spawned, and it is not in the 1 placed chest). The sign is also not returned to the player upon quick loot.
My players have permissions for cenotaph.large, cenotaph.sign, cenotaph.use, and cenotaph.quickloot. For testing purposes, this issue persists if cenotaph.freechest and cenotaph.freesign are enabled as well.
Any help would be appreciated, I have been using your plugin for a long time : not sure when this problem started showing up, I get no errors when this happens.
Edit: After restarting the server large chest started working again. The problem is that now you get no chests back and still get no sign back. I would still appreciate some help ;).
@GamingG
I sincerely appreciate that you would upgrade for my plugin! Sorry I didn't reply to your comment directly, but I did have a couple requests for a Java 6 version, and I uploaded one a while back. I will continue to support Java 6 for the time being, but as Oracle has officially switched over to Java 7, the releases may be limited.
@Markezzz
Whoops. That was an omission on my part - I had it in my notes for the 3.0 release and left it out somehow. I'll have a point release out for you this week.
@pr0fet
Yeah, I can do that. I'll make cenfind and ceninfo use the last (most recent) death when no index is given. That work?
Hello Southpaw018,
how can i disable the dynmap integration for cenotaph?!
I dont find any option in the config from cenotaph.
Thanks for you're help!
Is there any way to set up Cenotaph's Compass Command to search for the most recent death automatically?
I am trying to set up a server where most of the commands are done by signs, so the players don't have to remember anything, but using an index like it does currently kind of limits this. I can set up the sign to always look for index 1, but that only works if they are always looting their chest, which isn't the case on my server. If they die 2,3,4,5 times I can't offer the index for those. I'd really like some sort of "/cenfind last" command
This plugin was compiled using Java 7 and was unusable on my server until I started using Java 6 instead of Java 7. I actually prefer Java 6, but I was willing to make the change for this plugin; however, I'm sure there are a lot of users without root access to their box that are not allowed to update to Java 7. Could you recompile the latest version using Java 6 and offer that as an alternative?
MAJOR update! Version 3.0 should be up soon, depending on when the DevBukkit gods get to approving it :)
@Forest181
That's a really good idea. I'd planned the pay-for-lives scenario, but I like the idea of allowing others to claim it. I'll add that to the list.
I have a suggestion for you. What about adding a possibility to make people pay if they wanna recover their stuff. I'm thinking of scenario: I died, and I had tons of stuff I wanna get back. If I dont pay to get my stuff till certain time runs out, somebody else could buy it from server and have it. :)
Hello, shiny happy people. I'm back. Again. (Heh.)
I'm working on some of the earlier improvements. Cenotaph still works just fine, so onward and upward!
@Pythros
Confirmed! None of my plugins have ever broken with a new build of Bukkit, as long as you've been running the latest version before upgrade. (I'm probably going to regret saying that, but what the hey.) :)
Can anyone confirm/deny that this works in the 1.3.1 builds?
Proper Worldguard integration would be fantastic, other than that this plugin's the best. I see you plan to add Towny integration, please let there be an config option like "Towny Integration: false", for those that don't use Towny.
Thanks!

Solutions?
Cenotaphs can be placed in protected regions by WorldGuard. Can you fix it?
Long time user of your plugin. LOVE IT!!!
v2.1.2 all your change logs items works perfect with CB 1.2.5-R1.0 (2149)
Thanks for all you have done!

Hi, love this mod and all.. BUT is it possible to make the permissions options.. like cenotaph.freechest be a normal choice in the default config file?
If you didnt guess it i am crap with permissions and prefer to keep that mod of my server :( I did try to get it working.. but was unable after much back and forth. Also tryed the "cenotaph.*: true" that i have seen work with some mods.
I've been using this plugin since 1.7.3, and it truly is what made my server stand out from so many others.
Update! File should be posted here shortly, or grab it now from the download link above!
