Configure a simple quartz pillar block cannon (3 quartz pillar blocks, 2 buttons, & 1 sign)In game build a quartz cannon in the north/south orientation.BUG: Cannon is not detected.Cannons Version: 2.4.7Spigot Version: 1.12.2World Edit Version: 6.1.7
Building the cannon in the east/west orientation caused it to detect properly. Here's a link to Google Drive with the files usedhttps://drive.google.com/drive/folders/13pEMAFUU_yjj11cU_m15edQx9Fo-iqhg?usp=sharing
The same occurs with Bone Blocks and Purpur Pillar BlocksIf the blocks themselves are facing east/west but the cannons is build north/south it still manages to detect but it can't handle the orientation of the blocks if they're starting north/south.All blocks made out of logs work fine in all orientations. Quartz Pillar Blocks, Bone Blocks, and Purpur Pillar Blocks behave a similarly to log blocks and should be treated the same.I hope this information helps.
This seems to be an issue of Worldedit. Rotating the schematic with Worldedit commands does not turn the quartz blocks. Also making a second design with different rotation did not help.
This is the WorldEdit issue that concerns the quartz pillar, purpur pillar and bone block.https://dev.enginehub.org/youtrack/issue/WORLDEDIT-3587The sad part is the vanilla Minecraft has states for the rotations of these blocks that WE hasn't implemented.
Fixed with Worldedit 7 and Cannons 2.5.0
