What is Campfire?
Campfire is a plugin which allows you to have campfires in Minecraft in which you can burn your minerals and logs to get the same result as burning them in a furnace would give.
How it works
Putting fire above or beneath a supported block, or putting a supported block above fire, will make it turn into the result you would have by burning it in a furnace.
You can also make a piston machine with pushes the supported block above fire to make it drop the item. If you are using a furnace, the resulting item of the burning will always drop to the pistons right hand side, 2 blocks in front of the piston and 1 block to the right.
Note: Putting fire on top of Netherrack to make it burn into Nether Brick is not longer supported as of version 2.9.1. This is because it prohibited the ability to use Netherrack as a block for eternal fire. It can still be burnt the other ways, with, for example, pistons or placing fire underneath it.

Not to be rude in any way, but if you want to have "Campfires" Why don't you just spawn a bunch of armor stands in a circle to make a campfire, then implement this code you have created. It'll make a more "Real" looking campfire. (Or at least as real as you can get) This is simple command block work, and I honestly think will give this plugin a purpose, as something cool. If you are afraid of using Armor Stands, Plugins such as FurnitureLib over at Spigot can make your campfire code work good. I've tested this on my server, and with the majority of players (around 40) who tested it, most said it was quite pointless, as for you can do the same without a plugin, with a furnace. Of the ones who said that it was sort of useful, they mostly prefered furnaces, due to their ability to never burn out. There is less danger in the use of a furnace. I think this plugin should be recoded into a camping plugin. Honestly, a camping plugin would be way more useful than just a campfire. Other than that, I see potential in this plugin, but it needs work. But, I think if you put some effort, i could see this becoming greatness.

I do not see how that would be of any practical use in the game. But sure; I might add it.
make that if you do a item frame above it then what in the item frame is will be cooked like chicken, porkchorp and more food!
I featured this plugin in a video. Check it out.

@TheDavroar
Thank you for your feature suggestion! I will add support for this feature. I'll make it turned off by default, but make it available to be enabled in config.yml. The config.yml settings name will be: dropToInventory.
Is there also a way to instantly get the smelted/cooked item in your inventory? So you could make this in a public spawn, and people cant quickly steal the stuff?
@MineCraftler4Live
Sure!
Hey, I want to make a litle GERMAN Tutorial about the plugin. Can you post it as a tutorial for the plugin ?
