What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Log into Server A with the GUI
2. Retrieve data
3. Change IP of bPerms gui to Server B.  Server B uses same user/pass.
4. Hit update

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Well, it works as expected.  It will overwrite server B's data with the data retrieved in Step 2.  However, it would be nice if it would yell, warn, or block the IP from changing once the data is retrieved.

What version of the product are you using?
bPerms 2.9.2, GUI 2.0

Do you have an error log of what happened?
Nope.  No log is expected.

Please provide any additional information below.
Possible Fix: If the IP is changed, wipe the data before connecting to the new server.
