Describe to us the issue that you're having:I've been a user of PermissionsEx for about a year now, without incident, but someone suggested trying bPerms.I had an issue getting WorldEdit/WorldGuard permissions to work, and I mean ONLY the two of them.Every permission I put in for any other plugin worked fine.
I decided to run a test. So I deleted my old files, and started over. Now, what I've done is made ONE user group called 'test', and set it as the default group. The only permission nodes I have given it are 'worldedit.*', 'worldguard.*', and 'group.test'.
I log into the server, and was set to the default group called 'test'.And to no avail, permissions still aren't working.

Do you have an error log of what happened? N/AWhich version of bPermissions are you using?: (Please don't say "latest"!!!) 2.9.23Which version of CraftBukkit?: (Please don't say "latest"!!!) Dev Build #2369 - MC 1.3.2Which OS? Windows Server 2008 R2Any other information we may need (plugins, configs, etc):
Versions: (Please note that yes, I have tried this with the latest RB of each plugin/CB, with no change)- Craftbukkit - Dev #2369- bPermissions - 2.9.23- WorldEdit - Dev 1259- WorldGuard - Dev 644
Files:- groups.yml - http://pastie.org/private/ypsuu5jzokq3p2qj7ucbq- users.yml - http://pastie.org/private/siosyslmphiphki3awima- wepif.yml - http://pastie.org/private/vnsuk163fkmm80o2ufwvyw (pretty sure this is the culprit)
I have also tried changing WorldEdit's "no-op-permissions" to true/false, with no change.Every .yml has been checked for formatting mistakes as well.
I just tested it and it worked just fine.
All I had installed was bPermissions, WorldEdit, and WorldGuard. I even took your pasties and used them as my groups and users files. The only thing I changed was kanlaki101 to imaxorz.
All settings were default.
Here is my setup: https://www.dropbox.com/s/lbuz0wtd9i0z4fc/Test.rar
That works, yes, but doesn't implement the global files.
You can set the option in the config. I want one permissions file which is the same across all worlds.
Copy the users.yml and groups.yml from the world folder, paste them in the main /bPermission/ directory, and delete the world folders. Enable the use of global permissions via the configuration file, and that's when they stop working.
I just noticed that bPermissions has a mirror option. I moved my permissions over to the world folder, and set up mirrors for my other worlds.
So far, so good. I'm not sure why it doesn't work with the global files setup, but as long as it's working, I am happy.
So far, I am liking bPermissions over PEX.
Thanks for the help, imaxorz.
