Files will never override if there is a yaml error present, instead a bright red server message is broadcast informing the server admin to check their server.log for the error and fix it.

BACKUP ALL PERMISSIONS FILES BEFORE UPGRADING YOUR BPERMISSIONS!
"/permissions backup" command does this for you
