BOSEconomy
This plugin is no longer supported.
I have not updated this plugin in over a year, I barely even play Minecraft anymore, I've gotten a full-time job, and nobody else on the team is interested in developing it either. It's time to put it to rest. With the release of name changing in Minecraft 1.8, this plugin is no longer functional. Please do not use it anymore. The code is mediocre at best, and was written by a college student with no real-world programming experience. You really shouldn't want the source code. If somebody comes up with a script to convert BOSEconomy files to work with a different economy plugin, let me know via PM and I can include it on this page.
Thanks for the support I got while it lasted, and sorry for going silent and letting everyone down.

BOSEconomy is a simple, lightweight economy plugin. Every player owns an amount of currency and can make simple payments between one another. Read below to see all of the available features.
BOSEconomy stands for "Brotherhood of Slaughter Economy". The plugin was originally designed for our community's Minecraft server.
Features:
- Simplicity: install and go setup. Place the plugin in your folder and modify the files.
- Flexibility: Robust system able to accommodate the simplest of economy setups or the most complex economic setups to date.
- Reliability: Works with almost every Bukkit update without any need to update our plugin. ( no long waits for plugin fixes upon new Bukkit release )
- Standard: One of the leading Economy plugins. Backed by plugin API's such as Vault and Register. This means any plugin that uses vault or register as its backbone will make our plugin work with it without any need to change either persons code.
- Scalability: Control the functions of your econ based off of the size of your server base. With in game commands to modify almost every aspect of the plugin there is nothing you cant control.
- Ingenuity: Procedures put in place that provide the server owner with the "Sky is the limit" mindset. With options and controls to almost every aspect of the plugin there are hundreds of ways to make an econ system.
- Dependable: This plugin is constantly monitored and maintained. One of the most annoying factors to server owners is when a plugin loses support because of the owners disinterest in Minecraft. That will not occur with this as my communities server is very popular and proves to be a cornerstone for our gaming needs.

Is there a way to prefix the money amounts with a symbol, instead of suffixing them with a word? So it would be £5 instead of 5 pounds? I can't find anything. Ta.
@bwinkl04
Sadly, it has not.
I know quite a while ago there was talk of multiworld support. Did this ever happen? I am adding an additional world to my server, and separate wallets is a necessity.
@saldarine
could you pls add a easy way to change the messages? I really need it in german. thx
@PrimerBlock
I would love that feature, a simple /econ backup that would make a backup of the accounts.txt
Love this plugin!
is there any option to pay offline users?
i mean. i got a tree farm. entry fee = 2000 chips. but if the owner isnt online the user still gets there but dont pay anything to the owner of the farm.
greets ardragoon
Any tutorials on the Votifier listener config?
BOSEconomy works great for my application, but I have one suggestion. Could BOSEconomy backup the accounts.txt file before it deletes it entirely and rewrites a new one after finding an error in the yml. I think I left an extra bracket or something in the file and it wiped the players economy. Doh! So really I blame myself. But if you had an accounts.txt backup feature it would make BOSEconomy that more robust even when it comes to us bonehead admins.
maybe i am not seeing, but is there a way to have it so that if a player is afk or offline they do not receive paydays?
i figured out how to have paydays with infinite money and no bank bracket mastery by just using the default bracket (i did not see that either on the pages and had to google it) and have now been looking through the information here for the above issue, but if its possible to do the above I am not seeing it
is there any word on when 7.4 will be out?
Maybe its the lack of documentation for this plugin, but I cant seem to figure out how to set a bracket to a group. Having to set each and every user to a bracket is tedious and annoying. Its way easier to control via groups.
Is it possible to set different amounts of money for each world?
anyone know how to set the amount of money the player gets when using the boseconomy listener for vault? There is not documentation at all on this.
@Qwahchees
I'm currently thinking of switching from iConomy6 to this one, but i don't want to look at tiering videos to get the settings. A written description for each setting would be much easier and faster for me...
How do i pay a person through console?
The iConomy Conversion Tool doesn't work:
Warning: main(): It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected 'America/Los_Angeles' for '-8.0/no DST' instead in D:\www\htdocs\minecraft\econconvert\parser.php on line 15 Fatal error: Cannot break/continue 1 level in D:\www\htdocs\minecraft\econconvert\parser.php on line 15
@Natokill4
Looking to convert my Fe SQLite economy to BoseEconomy too.
Fe Economy is wriddled with memory leaks the developer refuses to fix let alone acknowledge.
I would recommend that you add a written settings, brackets and accounts description. I'd be glad to do it if you want me to. It's frustrating having to listen to someone describe it. I'm debating on using this plugin or not based on this one small thing. I think this plugin is great, just figuring out how to use it is un-necessarily difficult.
so from what im told there is no direct way to do this with boseconomy but i'm hoping someone has found a workaround for this problem:
I use autorank plugin to autorank my players up to the next group after a certain amount of hours played. I need to make it so that when they autorank up to the next group (ex: Builder to Trusted) that there boseconomy bracket goes up with them so they are getting there raise.
I have too many players to manually change every players bracket when rank up. anyone figure this out?
