BlockUp

BlockUp v1.1.0

Introduction

This plugin will allow you to convert many different items to their block form with the command /blockup. Some examples are diamonds, clay, coal, and even hay (wheat). I saw another plugin that did nearly the exact same thing a while ago, but it didn't have support for all of the items that should've been, and the way it converted items was inefficient and messed up the inventory. I took a different approach and have come out with this!

How It Works

For each supported item, the plugin will go through the player's entire inventory and remove that item, while counting how many were removed. If say, 180 diamonds were, then the plugin will give you back 20 diamond blocks as 180 / 9 = 20. If a player had 183 diamonds, it would give back 20 diamond blocks, and the three remaining diamonds, too. For a list of supported items, take a look at the Commands & Permissions section.

Installation

To install this plugin, simply download it and put it in the plugins folder on your server.

Commands & Permissions

When the command /blockup is ran, it will check the player's permissions and only block up items that they have permission for.

  • blockup.command | Gives access to the base command. This does not give access to blocking up items, just the command to do so.
  • blockup.type.diamond | Allows user to convert diamonds to diamond blocks.
  • blockup.type.emerald | Allows user to convert emeralds to emerald blocks.
  • blockup.type.redstone | Allows user to convert redstone to redstone blocks.
  • blockup.type.coal | Allows user to convert coal to coal blocks.
  • blockup.type.iron | Allows user to convert iron ingots to iron blocks.
  • blockup.type.gold | Allows user to convert gold ingots to gold blocks.
  • blockup.type.netherbrick | Allows user to convert nether bricks to nether brick blocks.
  • blockup.type.stonebrick | Allows user to convert stone to stone bricks.
  • blockup.type.brick | Allows user to convert bricks to brick blocks.
  • blockup.type.clay | Allows user to convert clay balls to clay blocks.
  • blockup.type.snow | Allows user to convert snowballs to snow blocks.
  • blockup.type.melon | Allows user to convert melon slices to melon blocks.
  • blockup.type.quartz | Allows user to convert quartz to quartz blocks.
  • blockup.type.hay | Allows user to convert wheat to hay blocks.
  • blockup.type.slime | Allows user to convert slime balls to slime blocks.
  • blockup.type.granite | Allows user to convert granite to polished granite.
  • blockup.type.diorite | Allows user to convert diorite to polished diorite.
  • blockup.type.andesite | Allows user to convert andesite to polished andesite.
  • blockup.type.lapislazuli | Allows user to convert lapis lazuli to lapis lazuli blocks.

New in 1.9

  • blockup.type.endstone | Allows user to convert end stone to end bricks.
  • blockup.type.chorusfruit | Allows user to convert popped chorus fruit to purpur blocks.

New in 1.10

  • blockup.type.magmacream | Allows user to convert magma cream to magma blocks.
  • blockup.type.netherwart | Allows user to convert netherwarts to nether wart blocks.
  • blockup.type.bonemeal | Allows user to convert bone meal to bone blocks.

NOTE:I have not included the new red nether block as it requires two ingredients (2 nether brick & 2 netherwarts) which would affect the netherwart blocks conversion.

Current Features

  • Permission-based blocking up. This allows for great customization.
  • Uses correct amount of items to make block. (9 diamonds for a diamond block, 4 stone for a stone brick block)

Planned Features

  • Add more item support if I've missed any!

Requests are welcome!
