iSafe - An assortment of beneficial features

In iSafe, I concentrate on the way server Administrators are situated when managing their server, such as myself. Personally, I never feel I have all of the features I want, or need... maybe you do as well? I created iSafe to help resolve those problems. iSafe provides you, as a server Administrator, with many of those useful features that never seem to be around when needed.

Posted Sep 9, 2012I installed iSafe on my server and grass stopped growing, I deleted it and grass began to grow again. I reinstalled it because the plugin is a necessity, but I am sure it is this plugin what is restricting grass growth. Other plugins installed: xAuth Dynmap EpicZones jWarp Lockette

about grass growth, I just can't see why. There's not a single line of code that has anything with grass growth todo :/
On the other side, I recieved my new computer yesterday, and I'm going to go bug hunting today or tomorrow.
And gunerr, do you still get this grass growth issue? If you do, then I'm going to check with bukkit about this.

And the grass spreading code was completely removed in version 3.2, so we have figured it is not isafe.
If you wouldn't mind listing your plugins, i can compare mine with yours and maybe we can find a solution.

Posted Sep 8, 2012Gotta say, I love this plugin. Its the one I completely rely upon for server security. I also love how often you update it.
However, I'm having a similar problem as other users, in that grass still does not grow back. I know you have tested it and can't duplicate it, and I also know that you removed all code to prevent grass regrowth, however, its still not fixed.
I have the latest version of isafe installed. I wasn't sure if if was a bukkit issue, so I upgraded to their most current beta release<sub>, and its still not resolved. I have no other plugin installed that affects the environment, so I must assume that its iSafe that's causing the issue.</sub>

After further investigation, I've found out it's WorldEdit, not iSafe.
Yes, iSafe did give you an error, (which is fixed in 3.2) but you were able to logg in, and from
23:45:35 - 2012-08-30 23:46:22 everything was ok. Then at 23:48:50 you did the command //set emerald, which is a WE command, and then you get a NPE from worldedit, and further on with tons of other WE errors which eventually crashed your server.
I've seen this before with WorldEdit.

I see, that's fixed in v3.2, with the revamp of blacklists :)
Also, I will investigate and experiment with dispensers to get prevention of liquid to work. Thought if Bukkit haven't implemented any feature to manage dispensing of liquid, I can't do anything.
Also creeper explosions should be preventing block damage, and not the explosion itself.
I'll test and see if it works, thought.

Oh and i WAS using essentials to block creeper BLOCK DAMAGE, not explosions or player damage. I just used essentials because you guys have nothing to disable Creeper block damage, You guys can only disable creeper explosions all together, which is not what i want.

Ok, I have a default rank, then there's a Member rank, I gave Members the iSafe.use.waterbuckets permission, and i disabled it in config. They cannot place water, and i want only Members to place water. But currently, no one can, but everyone can place water and lava using dispensers.
Though at the moment, if the dispense blacklist doesn't work, I can just blacklist dispensers no big deal.

Buckets are fixed in the upcoming version 3.2 :)
Also I tested the dispensing of liquid, and you're totally right. I think bukkit haven't implemented it yet.
Edit: Wait.. You disabled buckets in the config, and gave the users the right permissions, expecting them to be, or not to be able to empty buckets?

The issue is not resolved in 2.80, use the latest version(v3.1) if possible.
