  • CB 1.2.5-R4.0

Changelog

  • Removed misguided 'auto' feature :P
  • The blaze effect now persists across logins - if you turn it on, log out, and log back in, the effect will re-enable automatically, until you turn it off.
  • Ability to use /blaze <playername> to enable/disable the effect for others - controlled by 'blazeofglory.others' permission node.

The change to the /blaze command to allow turning it on/off for other users means that you can force enable it for any user you want who does not have the blazeofglory.use permission. Of course, you could just give them the permission and let them turn it on/off themselves ;)

The players.txt in the plugin folder contains a list of all players for whom the effect is enabled. You can add/remove offline players here and reload the plugin to control the effect on them as well.

Works on 1.3.1-R1.0.

  • Please Note: The amount of effects controllable by Bukkit plugins is very small, and most do not look good when used as player-centered effects. Please don't ask me to add more particles when I can't, other than a.) smoke, and b.) potion swirls, both of which are coming "eventually" but probably in the form of a new plugin.
  • Effect centering is not perfect; it will happen on the block nearest to you. This is a limitation of Minecraft and is beyond my control.
