BattleTracker

PvP Death messages

Customizable death messages for PvP deaths. Tracker Messages

Allows use of Herochat channels for messages.

Records

Records stats for PvP and PvE kills

Stats include, wins,losses,ties, streak, maxstreak, ranking, maxranking

Examples:

/pvp
/pvp top [x] : show the top x highest rated players
/pvp vs [x records] : shows the last x records vs another player
/pvp vs [x records]: shows the records between player1 and player2

Leaderboard Signs

You can make leaderboard signs for PvP, PvE, or any other plugin that uses BattleTracker as a backend (like BattleArena). These signs will update every minute.

To make them, you make a sign where the first line is [ database name ] where database name is PvP,PvE, or if you have BattleArena, any of the databases from the configs, like Arena, Spleef.

The second line is what type of data will be shown. Examples: Rating, Wins,Kills,Losses,Deaths, Streak,MaxStreak,KDRatio,WLRatio,MaxRating

Rating

Once that is done, the sign is complete and it will automatically convert signs above or below it into Top Signs, (though it won't convert signs that start with the character '[').

Personal Stats

Clicking on a leaderboard sign will show you your personal stats. A big thanks to MCForger for the code to do this.

To see what statistics this plugin may collect and send out from your server. See Information Collection. This can be disabled in BattlePluginsAPI/config.yml

This plugin checks for new bukkit release versions which can be disabled in the BattleTracker/config.yml

ive got this glitch when a place down a Leaderboard sign it says i dont have permission even thogh in group manager i have all permissions -'*'

That is strange then. If you have that turned off then you should never get this message.

I'm currently in the midst of updating Tracker though so it might be a bit before I can get to checking this one out as its just a warning and won't actually affect the plugin.

I some times get a warning in console and I presume its though battletracker.

As it's just a warning I'm not that worried but like to know if this is a fault on my side or has to be fixed at your end.
I have SendStatistics set to false as I dont use a website for tracking .

I will be updating to the new UUID system soon. The only problem with this is it will probably not be backward compatible. So old rating will probably be going away :( Unless someone wants to write a sql conversion....

Hello Alkarinv, I think that the plugins like Arenas Spleef Arenas Ctf Arena Parkour, Arena Futbul should have their own web interface instead of it all being cramped into one interface. Also this would allow people to use the actual battletracker interface to look at pvp stats not minigame stats and it all being confusing -Thank You!

I'll try to cut things down on that. Even with that size though requests are still taking less than 1ms and less than 0.5% of a tick. But I agree that should be faster. I'll see what I can do. It would be good if you could private message me some of your db sizes etc.

Also, potentially you could clear out some of the individual tables and leave the overall rankings intact. Let's talk in private about ways to clean this up.

Hello! I really like the feature of having the statistics on this plugin, but it seems to cause a lot of lag the larger the database gets. Is there any way you could consider making the database handled any better? Timings: http://puu.sh/7palk/bace29d812.png Thanks!

I think we should talk, try to catch me on IRC so we can work things out.

The paintball gives 2 pts b/c it gives one point for killing the player, and 1 point for winning. I believe you can change the victory condition to "LastManStanding" to stop that.

The newer version is being reviewed by bukkit , should be accepted within a day or so.

my custom names are somewhat short ... "stoneduel" .... " ironduel " .... i get an error message everytime .... "Tracker Database ironduel not found" .... and to add to it, "deathmatch', "duel", FreeForAll", etc can't be made into signs either ....

also ....

Why does paintball games 1v1 give 2pts on the scoreboard ?? how do i revert that back to 1pts per game won ?

and ....

Where can i get the new version with a fix for player names getting cut down ?

The problem with going into anti-cheating is that players find ways, so I'd only put very basic ones in. An x times per time period might work.

when using the ingame signs, I sorta get why long names get cutoff, but I find that sometimes it cuts off the actual number instead of cutting off the name short.
sometimes, it drops the name after 3 characters and leaves the rest blank.
and sometimes it adds 2 periods after the numbers.

Any chance of adding something to combat players boosting from their friends to get higher k/d? Configurable punishment for killing the same player a certain amount of times within a certain time period?

or (my friend suggested) a booster suspicion threshold: http://prntscr.com/2x3jx7

or hell, if killing the same player back to back a certain amount of times, just don't log any of the stats at all.

In your custom configs you need to have rated: true. But once that is done there isn't any reason they wouldn't show up on the stats. Perhaps the name is too long or something? what is your custom game called?

Heya !! Great plugin !! Gotta love how this gives all the great data :D

I got a problem tho : it''s not fetching my custom arenas. It'll show me data on the normal configs, but none from the ones i custom made.

Is there a way to make a sign using my custom arenas ???

There aren't any perms, I probably should add those in, but you can disable certain worlds inside of BattleTracker/config.yml.
