Barrage adds some excitement to arrow mechanics. 14 arrow types and unique loading mechanics make Barrage a blast!

Usage:
Arrow Types
- GlassHead - Higher critical chance rate
- APmax - Always hits for 3 damage
- Torch - Places a torch where the arrow lands
- Net - Create a slowing net trap on impact
- Water - Create a water spout, from a distance
- Fire - Not just for entities anymore, these fire arrows pack a bit more punch
- Lightning - Pretty self explanatory
- Mudslinger - Throw sand blocks as far as you can shoot
- Warp - Teleports you as soon as the arrow lands, wherever it lands
- Poison - Gives anybody it hits a healthy dose
- Frag - The classic
- Impact - Reach out and touch someone
- BugBomb - Hug people with spiders
- PlanetCracker - You don't want to be anywhere near these when they go off
To Fire off a Salvo:
- Place a bow in your hotbar
- Place the materials required for the desired type in your hotbar
- Left click your bow to cycle through the available arrow types
- Right click to fire
- You may only cycle through arrow types that have sufficient ingredients in your hotbar
- You may have multiple arrow type ingredients in your hotbar at the same time

To enable an arrow type, uncomment the line by removing the #
Costs are given in the format ITEM_NAME:AMOUNT
For arrows that have multiple requirements, separate them with a comma
EX: Frag: TNT:1,Dirt:1,Water Bucket:64

Installation:
Place Barrage.jar in your plugins folder and reload the server.

Posted Apr 16, 2016Link away! I want to encourage people to share ideas and mods instead of trying to "block out" the competition. There's no point in trying to limit the choices of your players, its all a game.
Blood Arrow - Heals for an configurable amount when hitting an enemy
Ice Arrow - Turns water to ice
Medic Arrow - Heals hit player
Vortex Arrow - Sucks enemies in the direction of the arrow
Forcefield Arrow - Pushes enemies away from the arrow
These arrow types seem cool, my plugin doesn't currently have any healing arrows at all. Once i finish updating my other 3 mods I'll have to come back and revisit these ideas.
On the crafting recipes idea, I like it but feel that would add too much complexity to my mod. If I were to implement that functionality it would be in a separate mod.
I like the idea of skeletons dropping specialty arrows but the way my mod works the arrow effect is triggered on the actual hit and there is no effect data stored with the arrows, so that would also require a different arrow system.
I actually intentionally limit the arrow scanning to the hotbar because it forces the player to prep ahead of combat, which helps to balance out the more powerful arrow types usage. It also means you dont have to cycle through every arrow type every time, only the available types will be cycleable.
I wont post it online since its CreepCraft's mod, but it would be trivial to run craftarrows through cavaj ( a java decompiler) and recompile the mod to work with 1.9.2. JAR files are actually just archives, you can use 7zip to unzip craftarrows.jar and look at the compiled mod files then open them in cavaj one at a time. Grab Eclipse, cavaj and the latest bukkit that you get from buildtools and you're halfway done.

Posted Apr 16, 2016hi, So far i used craftarrows for custom arrows, but that dosent work anymore, and it dosent seem as it will ever going to be updated to 1.9... Sorry, if you dont like linking to other plugins, but as its not woking on 1.9 and aint updated...

I will be adding a default recipe guide but I'm still trying to balance the arrow costs. That and testing. Lots and lots of testing. I have a guide set up here for now while I figure everyting out:
moosecraft / minecraft
Keep in mind that you do not have to place items in any specific order, as long as they exist in your hotbar you can cycle through them.
