BanRecipe
BanRecipe
Block that Recipe!
Now with 100% more furnace support!
This plugin does NOT support Tekkit!
BanRecipe is a plugin designed to stop certain people from using certain recipes, stop certain people from enchanting certain things and stop people from smelting certain things. It is designed as an improvement over other plugins such as NoCraft, as this plugin allows you to block individuals using permissions.
Dependencies
A BukkitPerms Manager (e.g. PermissionsEx or PermissionsBukkit) - Not required, but greatly improves functionality
Features
- Allows items listed in the config to to be blocked from crafting!
- Items can have permissions that allow users to still be able to craft blocked items. Items can share permissions (that means less clutter in your permissions.yml)!
- Does not affect the ability to have or spawn the item, only craft it. Very useful for RP servers with group specific traits.
- Customisable message sent to user trying to craft.
- Allows specific enchantments to be blocked from use with customisable message!
- Permissions allows for control of enchantments too.
- No need for Spout or any other external plugin!
- Allow certain items to be blocked from smelting - stop people ever making gold ingots again!
Mods
I would like to make it clear that I do not officially support mods. While my plugin should work with most mods, some mods don't, the mods this plugin are not compatible with are included in the list below:
- Tekkit
How to use the Plugin
Make sure to read up on how to use the plugin before you download!
Server Owners:
- Config...
- Permissions...
- Only command is /banrecipe reload in order to reload config file.
(Enchantments are based in permissions, Craft Items and Furnace Items are based in the config.)
Planned Features
- Potion support (only possibly).

Special Thanks
@Afforess and the rest of the @SpoutDev - Greatly helped with this project. Everyone else who helped in the thread I posted regarding help :p
What if a user with permission would give a user without the banned recipie, eg 42? Would they still be able to place it?
holy cow this is great i can even ban mod recipes like ic2 and such great to block nukes and such being crafted... TY great job
It'd be great if I could hook onto this plugin so that I could make an skill out of this.
@havena2
It looks like I haven't added that in >.<
I'll add it in and PM you when it's updated.
how to ban recipe 44:2 for exemple
pls update
@ho94949
I frankly cannot be bothered to setup a source. It's too much wasted effort to push the file up every time I update it, and egit doesn't want to work for me.
You either trust me or you don't. I don't care if you don't use my plugin, because others do.
@Hildcroft
Why doesn't bPermissions have a false? Why did you choose a permissions plugin that doesn't have basic requirements like that? If bPermissions truly doesn't have a 'remove/false permission' feature, then either you do need to put in all items, or you need to change your permissions plugin.
And yes, that is correct, it bans the item, not the recipe. If you want that feature, try NoCraft.
@Zantom07 So basically, with bPermissions, we need to add every item (bPermissions can't set a permissions to : false).
I tried to use this plugin in combination with CustomCrafting, but BanRecipe actually disables the crafting of a specific item, it doesn't disable using a certain recipe.
I think i should see source to verify this plugins
@Hildcroft
The permission node is banrecipe.idnumber, e.g. banrecipe.46 for TNT. They must have the permission to be able to craft it.

How do I block certain recipes with bPermissions?
