Description
Boring fly-mode in minecraft? Not anymore!
Use the commands to create banner wings and click on the wings item to enable or disable the wings. Enable the flying on your server with any other plugin, start flying and see that your wings are starting to move! If you land again, the wings will stop moving.
Features
Create Wings
Type /bwings create <name> <displayname>
Type /bwings give <name>
Click on the received feather and start flying.
Customize Wings
Get a custom banner item
Type /bwings leftwing <name>
The design of your leftwing changed.
Add Wings to entites
This is more like a funny addon because entities lose their wings on server reload
Hit a random entity with a wing-feather

/bwings - All commands for BannerWings
Config
Plays wings sound when you have enabled wings:
play-wing-sound: true
Plays wings particle when you have enabled wings:
play-wing-particle: true
Enable/Disable data collecting for mcstats.org
metrics: true
Permissions
bannerwings.commands - Allows creating banners with the commands
bannerwings.entitywings - Allows to give entities wings
bannerwings.useall - Allows to use all bannerwings.
bannerwings.use.<wingName> - Allows to use a specific bannerwing.
Metrics
This plugin collects anonymous stats for McStats.org.
API
This plugin has an api for other developers! Easy useage:
Add the .jar to your project
Add/Set/Modify/DoWhatEverYouWant in the BannerWingsApi.class.
You can also register an event class with the interface BannerWingsApiListener.

Posted Jun 14, 2015So we are launching our server here this upcomming week fillling in small bit and pieces offering some really awesome new things when I stumbled upon this. I would absoutly ADORE having this for my server, but it has a few bugs. Easily repeated, if you need help testing I will have a god size beta group going over this next few months I can use it on.
In the mean time, this is what I have found.
1. I love this its wonderful it goes on horrses and chickens too!
2. Many people can not disable this with the strinc nor the command (even with perms set then you have
to log off to get it to disappear)
That being said it will disable your mouse clicks in game while it refuses to take the wings off.
To Fix this one must log off after using ONLY the command)
3. The armor stands this is made of break off animals for server reboots.
4. The wings tend to trail behind if moving but this is minor.
I woudl love to see the removal from players and the perm armor stands if they pop off animals fixed or a way to be able to retrieve them after a reset.

After the third comment that i should change the position or movements then i'll update it.
The wings aren't properly seated because i forgot to update the own client. If another player sees someone with wings the wings are properly seated at the position where it should be. (If he sprints or not) But for yourself i need to force a client update. (next update).

Posted Jun 5, 2015Love love love the idea. 100% support on this plugin. I've never seen anything like it, and I'm very impressed
If I could give one idea for improvement, it would be precision of the wings on the character's body whilst moving. When you fly, it seems as if the wings aren't properly seated on the body.
Also, another idea for improvement, the positioning of the wing on the character's back as oppose to on his shoulders.
Other than that, absolutely perfect manipulation of banner wings. I love the plugin. Haven't tried it personally, but from what I can see in the video, you've done a fantastic job so far

The whole animation is own coded. It would be able to customize the time for a single movement. I just added fast/slow/medium to make it simplier for the users.
I know what you mean, but my other plugin gets an update first before i change this one.

i'd get sick of that enderdragon style wings movement
is it necessary for the movement to be exactly like that, and only be able to change the speed? is the plugin depending on the actual enderdragon mechanics or, can you let us customize the movement.. like, maybe let us use a gui to determine speeds and movements?
upwards 150 ticks; downwards 90 ticks ?
so i could open the motioncustomize gui and select upwards, and then 150 ticks, etc, and then click downwards, and click 90 ticks, etc. ? or just with commands? u know what i mean?
i think it's something that would make this plugin more attractive. at least when it comes to just the 3 speed/motion settings you have (im assuming.? slow medium fast?
just some ideas n thoughts :)
