Is there a way to ban an item using the "name"? instead of item id?

Hi! I really like the plugin and I have some suggestions for more options. I'd like to be able to ban items silently: just remove all of the messages you get when you try to use a banned item. Also, I'd like a way to let players handle items in their inventory that they can't place, break, interact with, or use. So despite not being able to place or use it, they can still move it around in their inventory and combine stacks of the item.

Great plugin. So im currently trying to ban an item from everywhere except for the overworld however it seems the bypass permission doesnt work? Is there a way to omit a world in the config. So theres a global ban on items but you can set a specific world to unban that item?

Im running a voltz server and it seems DIM-28 and DIM_SPACESTATION1,2,3etc will only ban the item if its globally set?

Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Hoping for a craft-ban feature in the next update, along with a custom prefix ability. And a side-note, multiple (2) notifications for denying use of an item is a little excessive and 'spammy'. Having only one message shown when denying use once would be cleaner and preferable. Example of what I mean: "[BanItem] This item [20423:0] is confiscated in [World_overworld} because:" and then another message directly after it; "[BanItem] (Reason)." The reason should be given inside of the first message. Or at least please make this plugin open source.. Thanks.

A option to allow it globally, IE, if you don't want to have to manually add a world every time you make a new one viva a mod or plugin.

This was very useful for banning items with long expanded id's from mods like '9492:0' the Orespawn OMG magic apple. That item would not ban using essentials or worldguard. I also want the functionality to have some items allowed in separate worlds. An example would be quarries allowed in the mining trash world, but not in the protected plot zones.

My only complaint is there really isn't good documentation for the plugin commands and config file. I second the idea there needs to be a good howto English youtube video for this plugin. :)

I tried that and it didn't work but ive managed to solve it now =] IF you hold flint and steel, ban th e item as usual, then in the config edit it so it says 259:-1:REASON* and in permission group type: - banitem.bypass.259:* That seems to resolve it =] Another question if you could, im trying to enable TnT for all ranks to use in a world called PvPworld. im using group manager and can't suss it out =/ ive tried putting w:PvPworld on the end but to no avail =[ Thanks!
