@LordCreeper0
This happens automatically if you use my sister plugin Alias alongside BanHammer.
Maybe the Idea to add /bh ipban and /bh pardonip or /bh ban (player / ip) ?
Please check this issue:

@grandwazir
I run on windows 8 64x edition. 4 Gigs of dedicated ram to the server, online mode is true
@ProjectInfinity
I don't know to be honest, but that is what the documentation says.
@siax7
This is an issue I thought I fixed. I guess you are running the server on Windows?
@Remi_Scarlet
I think this is related to what character set the database is setup to use or the method I use to format messages. Could you open a bug report on GitHub so I can track it easily?
@HenzQ
These are special characters used for MessageFormat I believe. I'll see if there is a way around it.
@POKEgaming
At the moment you can change the messages but not the colours.
@grandwazir
A question, why can't $[]{}% and other symbols can be used within the ban reason?
Hello I like the plugin alot but could you make it in the config where you can edit the color and what it says when you ban someone
For some reason, the whole plugin works, all exept for the actual banning part. I can kick, check if a player is banned, but the /ban command doesn't work, so also the temp ban doesn't work.

So I have the latest version of BanHammer and all, plugins updated, configs remade, etc etc.
I seem to have this issue where all the punctuations in ban/kick reasons disappearing. I'm not really sure what might be causing them as the issue's been there for a while but I've never bothered to try fixing it (I don't have to throw out bans too often)
http://puu.sh/4Ph8l.png Missing punctuations should be obvious in this one http://puu.sh/4Pheu.png Tried doing a ban reason with hyphens in this one, also disappeared.
It seems like only A-Z and a-z chars are popping up. I know this is a rather strange bug since I can't even provide an errorlog but do you have any idea what might be causing this?
Hey, I just downloaded BanHammer version 2.3.1, and when I attempt to access the ban hammer menu, it returns "/bh [check:history:purge:recent:reload]" any help?
Pastebin of the server log.

@grandwazir
How does it know then? Does it check every time, or is there a background task that checks for updates?
@grandwazir awwww I don't really understand what the notes are talking about and moreover i know nothing. Anyway is it possible for you to help me edit the files? :)
@ProjectInfinity
No since it automatically invalidates the cache when there is a change to the underlying database.
@Leriesx
See this link https://github.com/grandwazir/BukkitUtilities/wiki/Localisation
The file you need to edit in the .jar is called NormalBannedPlayerListener.properties
@swimmer1929
1.6.4 of what.. O.o
EDIT: So, apparently Minecraft releases secret unannounced updates now..
Please update to 1.6.4 if you can! Thanks!
@Leriesx
You could possibly include that in the reason, at least for now until he maybe adds that as a feature if It's not possible ATM, but I'm not sure.
Hey, how do I add another line on "You have been permanently banned by: Leries" "Reason: Hacking" page? I wanna add another line "Appeal your ban on: <Website> Thanks.
@grandwazir
Won't the cache be an issue?
