Are you using essentials? That's might the problem then. I've talked to the creators for essentials but they don't understand how the bug accurse.
Any way to set it so it doesn't tell people they are "Permanently Banned" when using /ban. On our server we like to give second chances and put 'Appeal @ AWNW.net' in our reasons, but some players see the "Permanently banned" message and freak out thinking they can't appeal.
Just curious if it's possible to change the default message, or make that a config option perhaps?
I can't get banhammer to work with mysql can you do a tutorial on it grandwazir?
@carlgo11
You can also use the plugin Alias which Banhammer which adds IP banning.
@EncryptedCurse

They should not be modifying my messages at all.
Whenever the banned user tries to reconnect, the ban reason disappears and goes with the one set in Essentials. (The Ban Hammer has spoken!) How do I go about fixing this conflict?
@mrchasez
No it doesn't. But if you have essentials you can do /ban-ip <player> to get there ip banned to
Is there a build that works on 1.4.4 devs?

Doesn't load for me, and then just repeats the command syntax when anyone tries to use one of the /bh commands.
Some how two of the same person is appearing in the database and you are unable to ban them because of that.
Players are receiving notifications when people are banned or kicked without the banhammer.notify permission. Any fix to this? I can't find the permission in any group.
EDIT: One other thing, I can't purge anyone's ban history, I get the message: PURGECOMMAND.PURGED
@rylinaux
Could you please give me a link so I can try your banned-player.txt myself to find the issue?

Any idea when the PHP banlist tutorial on the wiki will be updated? I want to be able to display bans on my server's site
Where can i find the Permission Nodes?
When I try and import bans from my banned-players.txt file (old format with just the names), it doesn't import any and simply gives me the "no bans imported" message... any idea as to why this is occurring? There are 7,000 bans I need to import from that file, so this is kind of important :P
BanHammer version: 2.0.2
