About bSpace
bSpace is the one and only plugin that generates spaceworlds for your server! Ever wanted to fly around in space and make awesome looking spaceships? You can now do that and many other things with bSpace! Just want an awesome world generator? Well, we can offer that too!
NOTICE
bSpace is in the mature stage of this plugin. As such, I do not spend much time on it at all. However, I do generally post bug fixes, especially for bigger bugs. If you would like a new feature, please make a ticket (top of page) for it. Unfortunately, my Jenkins server has been disabled, so I can't post any dev builds.
Features
- Spaceworlds with customizable planet and asteroid generation
- Spacehelmets and suits, can be turned on and off
- Pail (a Bukkit GUI) support - Pail is outdated. Don't expect support in the future.
- World manager support
- Basic breathable areas (where no helmets or suits are required)
- Awesome Spout features such as gravity and black holes
bSpace has many other features, but because we want to save some space (get it?), we only list the most important ones. If you want to know what the spaceworlds look like, you can hop onto the Images-section.
The following video is very old and does not accurately represent the current state of bSpace. However, it does show the basic planet generation. I do not have control over it.

Development builds of this project can be acquired at the provided continuous integration server.
These builds have not been approved by the BukkitDev staff. Use them at your own risk.
What should I choose?
- Downloading from Jenkins is reccomended; it provides the most flexible downloads of everything:
- Download the development for untested fixes/bugs.
- Download the tested build for builds that have no known bugs, but have features or fixes not in the release build
- Download the release build if you want a build that has been built solely as a wrap-up of new features or fixes.
If you have trouble installing, don't forget to check our very own installing and updating guide. There are links to all guides below, under the giant Pages-text. There are also some guides for developers.

Posted Jul 7, 2015Plugin works for 1.8 but doesn't have the glass under the person. {you need multiverse-core} if you have multiverse-core, do /mv create {world name} normal -g bspace

After approval of the project i loadup the fixed 1.7.2 version.

Posted Jan 14, 2014So, testing this on 1.7.2-R0.2 with multiverse, and the generator itself seems to work fine, however the space suit mechanics (including suffocating), flying (shouldn't that be enabled via this plugin?), and gravity (is this a spout thing?) are all not working right or at all. Further, Spoutcraftplugin seems to choke on anything newer than 1.6.2, so nothing spout related will work (even if bSpace WAS updated to use that).
Please update this plugin, or someone else take over its maintenance so we have space worlds that work right!

Posted Dec 15, 2013I can't seem to get the space suits to work, in the sense that I can't make players suffocate on space worlds when not wearing golden armor. Does this just need to be updated for it to work on 1.7.2 or have i maybe missed something in the config? Thanks.

Posted Nov 6, 2013I know this is a little late but if it helps in future I have this running on a 1.6.4 server with no problems using multiverse. Command I used to generate world was /mv create [world_name] normal -g bSpace:[id name] The world name can be anything and the id name is the name of the profile in the ids.yml. I think that bSpace was case sensitive as well. As for the breathing in space issue I had the same thing. Setting the bspace.ignoresuitchecks permission to false for the basic default permission group solved this for me.

I had also this problem and make a simple Workaround.
generate the world with 1.52 and Myworlds.
Then used WorldBorder to fillout the whole planed space (20000 x 20000) . this Need some times on a local Server. but the most time of the day my Computer are not busy, especially when i am on work :/.
Then i copied the SpaceWorld on a 1.62 Server and ist fine :)
The breath in space not work but thats a little issue :/
endless expanse ..... to explore wirh spaceships ....and so on ...

After some time of waiting for reply I made my own way how generate really good planets, It's just only craftscript, but I think that results are perfect. I think, I can give you my code, to make your generator better. If you want see some examples, just visit our server or look at Space Map

Posted Sep 2, 2013well i have tried it on 1.6.2 with multiverse. but its a failure. the planets and such do generate
but i can still breath in space even with no permissions and no suit on i tried different id''s from the config. tried different suits configurated the config correctly using the instructions. i just cant get it to work like its supose to now another strange thing happen.
the planets are not always fully generated. its missing parts of the planet. mabe because of a restart but still that shoudnt happen,
also the dev builds from jenkins the project is gone from jenkins so no dev builds to download and test
so to be short this plugin needs to be fixed. but as far as i can read we need to wait a long time for that to happen :S its such a good plugin please do not abbandon it. :S
mabe this helps. i think the planet generation bug has something to do with the worldseed mabe it changes mabe the generator changes the generation even with the same seed
btw have anyone seen any blackholes. because i havent :S
