Summary

This plugin is a continuation of the once awesome mcpvp-based spawn protection of jProtection. I have upgraded the plugin however also by making the selection of the spawn and such by cuboid and not a radius. Have you ever wanted a mcpvp-based spawn protection and everyone wants to charge you for it!? Look no more! BadgerProtection is brought to you by ~ TheWolfBadger

Get rid of the advertisement

Yes, this plugin is free, but the plugin does have an advertisement that only shows to players who join for the first time. https:www.mc-market.org/resources/272 and https:www.spigotmc.org/resources/badgerprotection-advertisement-free.9221/ is the same plugin, however it gets rid of the BadgerProtection author credit message (The plugin costs $2.50). So instead of your players seeing the following when they first join, BadgerProtection Advertisement Message they will no longer see this since the version does not include it.

Help

Permissions

BadgerProtection.Admin - This gives the users permission to use the command "/prot".

Commands

./prot wand - Go into BadgerProtection selection mode.

./prot setspawn - Set the spawn for the command /spawn.

./prot cancel - Exit the BadgerProtection selection mode.

./prot complete - Complete the BadgerProtection selection mode if you set the positions.

./spawn - Teleport to the BadgerProtection set spawn.

Config

TeleportDelay: 10 # (Seconds)
CheckRadius: 10 # This is the radius around the player it checks. If there is a player within this radius then they have to wait the TeleportDelay until they can teleport safely.
Messages:
  GainProtection: '&7You have gained BadgerProtection!'
  LostProtection: '&7You have lost BadgerProtection!'
  PlayerHasProtection: '&7The player &d{PLAYER} &7currently has BadgerProtection!'
  PlayersNearby: '&7There are players nearby! You must wait &e{DELAY}&7 seconds to teleport!'
  PreventPlace: '&cYou can not break a block protected by &eBadgerProtection&c!'
  PreventBreak: '&cYou can not place in a Cuboid protected by &eBadgerProtection&c!'
  TeleportCancelled: '&cWarping cancelled!'

ok i like the idea but i keep getting a server error message saying i cant use / spawn until ive set the cofig up but from what i can tell default settings are fine right?

is there a config file im over looking or is the plugin just colideing with another plugin of mine

um help soon the server will stay closed until i can get this figured out

is there a way to make it so when you die you gain protection? because on my server when someone dies they go to the spawn but don't gain protection.

Please in the future create a ticket about the problem, rather than just commenting on the plugin page. I can look into it in a bit.

Hi, I use this plugin, and it doesn't seem to be compatible with projectiles. Arrows, snowballs, fireballs, etc don't make the player lose their spawn protection. Do you think you can fix?

You can not disable that. It will only pop up for first-time players. However you can get it disabled by purchasing the No-Advertising Version. The link to purchase it: https:www.mc-market.org/resources/272/

why when some joins for the first time, it says this server spawn is protected by badgerprotection? and how do i disable it!

.... LOVE IT! But... on my server, i am using BadgerProtection and all works but doing /spawn... {it says this isnt configuered!} or something like that! i need to set worldspawn, ive tried Essentials but when i had essentials i couldnt use commands and was needing Essentials JUST for registering EssentialsSpawn. so i got this i was slowly clapping {not really} so i put it in correctly and all i was ready to be able to go to spawn, i k i set it, ive tested by doing /kill and i will warp back to that block... although now i think of it, i set that block at *MY*first spawn so ill sleep in a bed and try to work it out, but still, -problem is- cant use /spawn. "everything in the config must be set for you to run this command!" so what do i possibly need to rewrite/generate/agreeto/download to get this up??

Wait After you get out of the spawn protection, PvP seems to be disabled and even inside after u leave and come and When i die I dont always get the spawn protection for some reason o_o

Its working fine without errors now but after they do /spawn It doesnt do anything after that no message of spawn protection and mobs spawning in there
