Does it work on 1.9?
@ELCHILEN0
Thanks for the fix!! Really appreciate you taking the time to maintain this. :)
@ELCHILEN0
thx for the update
Uploaded and pending approval. Thanks @wazoomie for bringing this to my attention. Fixed for newer users.
The plugin still works fine under 1.9, but you'd have to update the messages to be compatible with the new JSON Interpreter. Previously this was a valid message:
Now you'd have to enclose everything in quotes like so:
There are some other changes like how the 'show_item' tag works, but I haven't figured out yet how to fix that syntax.
This doesn't look good.

Tagging you in this comment to request a quick update to 1.9 please.
1.9 update? Messages won't work as they used to in 1.8.

Great plugin, works in 1.8.8 :)
Are the prefix and suffix command ok? i cannot use these
Can you always release a 1.7.9/10 version for every new major update? I would really appreciate it.
@highhack
I just figured it out, it's not in "Permissions" it's listed in the "FAQ".
I've got a little question. My messages are just shown to the operators of my server and not to the normal users. Unfortunately I didn't find a setting in the config.yml. Can anyone help?
When I put this in config.yml: commands: enabled: true interval: 83 expiry: -1 random: false messages: - /save-all The plugin send double command ! Why ? Can you resolve that ?
(After 15 minutes): Now i understand, that engine send command for every player on the server:
Great plugin! :D
Feature Request: Parameters
With the ability to use am broadcast listname 1 This means we can use this to display custom messages in other plugins, or on scheduled events which is fantastic, the only issue is that I cant pass information into this.
If we have parameters we would be able to use placeholders from other plugins to display information, for instance I have a rank upgrade system, when someone ranks up I sent a bcast message that they have ranked up, I would much prefer to have a customizable message (which isn't part of their plugin). I could use the {username} placeholder from my ranks plugin and run the command: am broadcast listname 1 {username} {time} Then in the config for listname 1, you would have {parameter1} {parameter2} which would display the parameters passed into the broadcast; They could be infinite as the space would separate them. This could be used in so many ways, for many plugins to display custom messages with this very simple feature.
So I added the permission for people to be able to see messages but they still don't show up for regular players but they show up for me cause I'm OP.
Np, sorry the cause is /n in the message json
