Futbol is a realistic soccer plugin for Bukkit using the BattleArena API. Players can left-click and "kick" an item or "ball" into a goal to score points. After a team scores a goal they will not be able to kick the ball for a configurable amount of time, or until the opposing team touches/kicks the ball. The team with the highest score at the end of the time limit wins. Rewards can be given to the winning and losing teams. Players can form teams, and even join tournaments. If the arena is in use, the players are kept in the queue and will join when one opens up. Server admin have the option of using BattleTracker to track win:loss records.

Installation
- Put BattleArena.jar into your plugins folder.
- Put ArenaFutbol.jar into your plugins folder.
Field Setup
- /futbol or /fb
- /fb create <arena name> Create arena and set team 1 spawn
- /fb alter <arena name> 2 Set team 2 spawn
- /fb alter <arena name> 3 Set center of field for ball
- Spawns can now be set by team. /fb alter <arena name> <team #> <spawn #>
- Goal Blocks changed in v0.4.1
- In the goal team one is shooting at place Stone blocks under wooden pressure plates
- In the goal team two is shooting at place Cobblestone blocks under wooden pressure plates
Commands
- /futbol or /fb
- /fb join
- /fb leave
- /fb ball Set the item you are holding as the ball.
- /fb balltimer <Seconds> Set how long a team cannot kick the ball after a goal.
- /fb pitch <int> Adjust angle of kick must be between 0 and 90 degrees. example: /fb pitch 15
- /fb maxpitch <int> Set max angle of kick must be between 0 and 90 degrees. example: /fb maxpitch 90
- /fb power <double> Set power of kick must be 2.0 or less. 1.0 = 100% example: /fb power 1.4

I thought this might happen. It will happen if a player scores a goal in last 3 seconds of a match. This is caused by a delay I added to the teleport after a goal is scored. Here is a solution. Add this line to your config. This will add 10 seconds to the end of the match allowing the teleports to happen in the correct order.
secondsToLoot: 10
Sometimes after the end of the game, some players dont left the arena, and can take the ball preventing the game to others. Please help.

I believe this is an isolated incident. If any one else can recreate this issue please leave a comment and I will try to resolve the issue.

If your field is not setup you will get that error. Follow the field setup instructions found at the top of the page.
When I do /fb join it says no enabled arena.
How do I enable the arena. In Config its set to true for enable.
Version 3.8 default config reads like this:
onJoin:
options: [alwaysJoin]
You may want to change to this:
onJoin:
options: [alwaysJoin, alwaysTeamNames, alwaysWoolTeams, armorTeams]

Took care of the hunger in the new version 3.8 Also the ball should not disappear anymore. the new version is bukkit 1.5.2 R1.0
Hi, i'm actually using CTF, Paintball, and Futbol, on Bukkit 1.5.2 R1.0. In CTF and Paintball it's all ok. In Futbol too, except one thing, players have hunger when they run in arena. That means, they die of hunger in arena.

Is this a bug? Or is there something i can do to put hunger off during Futbol?
This is not compatible with 1.5.2-R0.1 ?

I'll look into it. I think I know how I can fix it. I will add a fix in the next update. The next update will be soon because bukkit has released a new version.
Hi, I am using this Plugin, which is really cool, but sometimes the ball dissapears.

It is all bukkit API. It uses the BattleArena API and only breaks when there is a major change.
Does this plugin use any nms/obc imports or is it written within the bukkit api... meaning is it cb version independent or is it going to break on cb updates?
An updated file has been uploaded and waiting approval. I also uploaded it to my github if you are in a hurry.
If anyone is having issues please let me know as soon as possible (use ticket system). I want to keep the plugin functioning. I apologize for taking so long to fix the issues.

here's how to allow player to join while match is in progress.
For anyone interested I think this was causing the issues with the scoring. I do have a solution but need to clean up the code because I junked it up a lot trying to find the problem. I hope to have a new version uploaded soon.
