APOC Payday (Economy/Votifier Rewards)

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of Minecraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

Ever wanted a plugin that did EVERYTHING economy wise and did not slow down your server in any way? And a plugin that was coded correctly so that 1 version fits ALL minecraft versions?

Look no further! This plugin rewards for everything and works on MC 1.2.5 to 1.7.9 and is extremely lightweight! Did i mention it works great on modded servers and MCPC+?

No spammy errors. This is the correct way to do it.

Weve had a lot of angry dumb people already download our plugin and yell at us saying our plugin is broken because they do not read the dependencies. The only way we could detect Vault before the plugin started up was to check if it existed inside the folder before the plugin started up.

Otherwise it would throw a big java error on start up and we got more anrgy people making tickets saying the plugin is broken.

And since Vault has NEVER named their plugin anything but Vault.jar there should be no reason to rename your plugin jars.

Short story: People complained the plugin errored cause they didnt have the dependencies, so we threw in checks to make sure all dependencies were there. No Vault? No plugin. No economy? No plugin. No votifier? No vote rewards. No MCMMO? No MCMMO Multiplyer bonus.

What's the reason for checking for Vault.jar? It seems unnecessary, and unusual. what if I like to name my jar's w/ version numbers on them?

Our plugin is an economy plugin and requires vault to run (as stated in the dependencies).

It also requires a economy system plugin such as Essentials or iConomy. Most servers already have these for their shops but economy in general all plugins that use econ use vault.

Also our plugin checks to see if Vault.jar exists in your plugins folder. So if you renamed it to something else it will not start the plugin.

I guess i forgot to change the version in plugin.yml. ^.^ That problem is occurring because either you don't have Vault, or it was renamed.

Strange problem with Payday - Building a fresh server, no previous versions of anything. Payday reads out:

[19:59:09 INFO]: [Vault] Loading Vault v1.2.31-b411 .... [19:59:16 INFO]: ºcVault not found! Is it renamed or on the server? Plugin canno t run and is being disabled [19:59:16 INFO]: [APOCPayday] Disabling APOCPayday v1.0

I downloaded 1.1.2, but it seems to be 1.0?

Thanks for the reply guys. I left it empty and was getting a diamond and two cookies as well.. Online rewards are set to true. I had it working before. After I put in a 0 (only 0) for items field it stopped working all together.. so I set it to 0:0:0, nothing changed. Tried 1:0:1, which would give 1 dirt, nothing.. Got a chance to try the [], just a ; -whatever I try it doesn't seem to be rewarding the online time. After each adjustment I did a server reset, though nothing changed. Looks like I broke it.. :S I'm sure the fix is a reinstall.. However, I really like all the options 1.2 gives. So I will hold off on the re-install and just go with the mining rewards for now. Hopefully pointing out this bug will help with your coding. :)

1.2 looks very impressive with all the rewards and the way it is organized.

I've taken the crash course in economy plugins, and I have to say this one is very nice compared to others that are incredibly convoluted. Props!

If you don't want it to give you items, leave the item space as ";" (Without the quotes) or, as Zil said give any item with an amount of 0 I found out that if the field is empty, it gives you a diamond and 2 cookies, but I don't know why.

Leaving the items field blank or setting it as items: [] should disable it.

Or just set it to give the player air ID 0 and give him 0 of it.

Nice plugin. I'm using this plugin for currency generation and it works great! Though how do you disable the items and make it so only currency is given for online time and votes? The ores reward system is working well to generate currency.

V1.1.2 has been uploaded and fixes the following things:

Fixed permission nodes on plugin.
Fixes bug that did not give players their rewards.
Add plugin check. This also fixes the crash of the plugin and problem generating a config file if the server does not have votifier. If it does not detect votifier the plugin shuts down voting rewards.

PVP Rewards: This we can probably do.

MOB: This we can also probably do.

Online Rewards: No, this seriously does not make any sense... Who in gods name will play on a server 24 hours straight? I would beg that dude to get off the server so he could get some friggin sleep and possibly get a life... Our plugin rewards you for your ONLINE TIME which means if you login to the server, play for 1 hour straight you get an award. If you LOG OFF within 45 minutes of when you logged in, it will reset and start all over again. This is a reward for actively playing on your server for long periods of time not overall time.

Votifier: If you need the config, its on the config page. I honestly do not know of a server that does not have votifier...

EDIT: Its confirmed, we are working on everything in the planned features list! Updates should be rolling out soon with new features, even MCMMO integration!

If you start doing what the Jobs plugin does, make sure you also handle the cheat/spam scenario. For example, only reward player if crop is collected when fully grown. Also make it where sugarcane costs more money to plant than it does to collect to avoid the punch/plant spamming to get easy money.

I was all excited and ready to be onboard with this plugin until I saw it still required an external economy plugin. :(

I might still look at it though but the plugins I use for economy don't seem to be hogs or at least not like other plugins like anti-cheat plugins, worldguard, etc. I use Essentials, Jobs, Lottery, MineSlots, VoteRoulette.

Few ideas

PVP Rewards Have pvp rewards option to take money from the player killed. Have a min and max amount and the killer gets a random amount between those 2. add a chance to get rewarded eg you will get a reward 80% of the time.

Mob Rewards Have a min and max amount and the killer gets a random amount between those 2. add a chance to get rewarded eg you will get a reward 80% of the time.

Online Rewards Have a multiplier for the total time online to reward loyal players eg after 24 hours play time the reward doubles.

Votifier Please remove the need to have this in your plugins file to even get a config. I understand its required for a certain function of the plugin to work but it should just warn that that feature wont be able to be used without it installed and still generate the config file.

For months I have been looking on bukkit dev to find economy reward plugins and not only do they not exist, the ones that do are inactive and outdated with numerous errors and use bulky coding.

So we decided to make this. Hopefully we can get some more stuff added in for brewing, crafting, farming, blacksmithing. But as for buying and selling that would require it to be dependent on another plugin or have its own buy/sell, claim, player shop, etc built in and i think that would make the plugin too bulky.

Great plugin! I love this because I can use your plugin instead using several plugins for the same results. Your plugin does even does more! My suggestion is to add rewards for buying and selling. For instance, setting up and running a shop or a reward for frequently using player shops. Maybe something like "Discover" uses, a cash back reward system for being a frequent shopper.Also, maybe a reward for first time someone claims land and buys or builds a home. A first time Home owner reward! I appreciate the time and energy you put into making this plugin. I am using it on my server! Dreamrdawn
