A+ Pistons
A+ Pistons enhances the abilities of pistons. With it, pistons can move nearly any block, bedrock, redstone, and even water, and for any distance!
Features
- Allows you to change which blocks that pistons can move, break, or are stopped by.
- Allows you to change the number of blocks that pistons can push.
Known issues
- Block movement isn't smooth for blocks that aren't normally movable
- Items that Minecraft considers containers (chests, heads, signs, etc) cannot be moved or broken by pistons
Installation
Simply copy the jar file into your server's plugins folder and start the server

Version 1.1.1 has been uploaded, with support for CB 1.5.2 and compiled for Java 6.
@S0Nx0FxAxS0N
People still use older versions of mc/bukkit, wake up!
@S0Nx0FxAxS0N
If you read the change log for v1.0.2, you'll see that it was for Java 6 compatibility.

Um, why was it updated for 1.4.7 again when there is already 1.5.1?
1.5.1 plz
@silver9999
Currently, with the way Minecraft Pistons work, moving blocks that have an inventory, such as chests, will crash the server. Blocks that are still considered a container (specifically, they extend the class BlockContainer), but don't have an inventory, such as skulls, will lose any of their extra data, like what kind of skull it is or which direction it's facing. Beds aren't considered a container, so I would assume that they break because they're made of two blocks.
I'll look into it more when I can find some time, but it would likely require a rewrite of how Minecraft handles pistons, so I probably won't be able to add anything new for a month or so. I'll keep maintaining it if there is a Minecraft update, however.
Is it possible to add the option that pistons can move Beds or stuff that would brake pls :D
Version 1.0.2 has been submitted. It has been compiled for and should work on Java 6
, though I just remembered that I haven't tested that part of it yet.@APlusMalware
Dude!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH! THIS IS POSSIBLY THE SAME PROBLEM I'VE HAD WITH MANY PLUGINS!!!
@QuesterPro
Ah, that's probably caused by a Java 6/7 incompatibility. I'll see about compiling it for Java 6 from now on and recompiling the older versions, but you should see if you can upgrade to Java 7 in the meantime.
@APlusMalware
These are the plugins I use:
AcidRain
DiabloDrops
EnchantPlus
Essentials
" " AntiBuild
" " Chat
" " Protect
" " Spawn
mobhealth
MobVariants
PistonsPlus < Plugin loads without error, has config file, does not work in game.
RepairRecipe
Spawner
The PistonsPlus doesn't work in-game for me so I'm trying to get A_Pistons to work, but I keep getting this error when it tries to load:
[SEVERE] Could not load 'plugins\A_Pistons.jar' in folder 'plugins' org.bukkit.plugin.InvalidPluginException: java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: com/aplusmalware/bukkit/APlusPistons/APlusPistons : Unsupported major.minor version 51.0
Then it goes on about at org.bukkit etc. at org.bukkit.craftbukkit.v1_4_R1.CraftServer.loadPlugins(CraftServer.java:230) at net.minecraft.server.v1_4_R1 etc. the tons more of that.
Then is says: Caused by: java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: com/aplusmalware/bukkit/APlusPistons/APlusPistons : Unsupported major.minor version 51.0
When I stop the server to check the plugins, no config file is generated.
@QuesterPro
Okay... Could you be more specific? Are any errors thrown in the console? Is the configuration file valid? What plugins do you use?
This plugin isn't working for me. :(
I'm running Bukkit version 1.4.7 R1.0 but the 1.4.7 version of this plugin wont work.
Version 1.1.0 has been uploaded. It is updated to Minecraft 1.5.1 and contains an API of sorts usable by other plugins. However, it can throw a concurrent modification exception in some situations. This is currently being suppressed, as it does not appear to have an effect other than filling up the console. Since it could cause unexpected problems, however, all files will be marked as Beta until it is fixed.
@Angrodym
Not currently, but it's somewhere on the to do list.
Can I change the number of blocks that the piston pull too?
Version 1.0.1 for Minecraft 1.5 has been uploaded and is awaiting approval. The plugin was updated as quickly as possible and as such may contain bugs, which should be reported in a ticket.
@Me4502
I was not aware that CraftBook could do anything like this in the first place. So yes, all of the code is quite original.
This plugin looks like it does exactly what CraftBook BetterPistons do. Can you confirm you have not copied any code?
@alliedmarrow
You change MaxPistonExtendRange in the config file.
