Description
For any survival server it takes only a few days for player to get comfy with there giant animal farms providing everything they need. As an admin myself I found this quite frustrating. Isn't there a way to keep player working hard even after they have made a few farms and animal pens? Animal Plague is the answer! The idea is to create a way to naturally limit the amount of animals a player can have at once. This causes them to work harder because they don't have as many resources. As an added bonus, Animal Plague also helps control lag caused by oversized animal farms! Animal Plague can be configured in many different ways to create a plague with very different effects!

Configuration
you can change...
- The time before the plague is first noticeable.
- The time it takes to kill the infected animal.
- The chance to infect other animals.
- The radius that the plague can spread out from the infected animal.
- The amount of animals in an area before a plague will appear.
- The chance of immune animals appearing.
- The cure item for the plague.
Future Changes
Set which animals can be infected.(Done)Add a configurable cure item.(Done)Add Immunity.(Done)- Allows players to experience plague effects by coming in contact with plague animals.
Allow animals to drop rotten flesh if they die from the plague.(Done)More plague effects.(Done)- Whatever recommendations you have!

When the plague spreads, does each infected animal attempt to spread the plague to one healthy animal, or every healthy animal within range? For example, if I have two sick cows and 8 healthy ones, then, five seconds later, can I count on a maximum of 4 sick cows, or is it possible that all 10 will be sick?
is there a way to make it so Faction claims aren't touched ?
Or maybe using WorldGuard, to change the amounts of animals to infect ?

Animals do not actually turn green. They do get poison potion particle effects but there is no way for them to actually turn green. Sorry the plugin picture confused you!
I can't see the green animals. They get infected and they die but there is no way to distinguish them.
Using Spigot 1.8.3.

nice plugin. Downloaded the latest available version. Everything works fine except that my animals don't die. They get infected and everything but they gonna live forever, no matter how low I set the values in the config.

Unlikely, but you can try it.

'No Cure' is what the plugin says at startup, regardless if there is a Cure setup or not. It's part of the flare that was put there, before the addition of a Cure was added to the plugin. Have you tried a Cure item that is actual food? We use a Golden Apple for our Cure and it works just fine.
is there support for Rabbits?
Cure item doesn't work, I set up 'QUARTZ' and it does nothing, reloading says 'No Cure'

Thanks for helping me out, basically I just want to make the server as crazy as possible, so of course a plague was needed, along with guns and volcanoes.... on skyblock with industry. Thanks again for the response.

This works on 1.7.9 and 1.7.10 I'm sure. Not so sure about 1.8 though..
The plugin is wonderful, though it takes some adjustments to get "perfect" for each server's preference I think. Totally worth it.
I will never be without this plugin, providing the wonderful Dev doesn't give up on it. ^.^ It's a great way to stop those awful lag creating massive farms.
Is this still a working project? Because this looks awesome. Just wondering if this will work for 1.8. Just got back from a few month break from Minecraft so i'm remembering how everything works.

It should work with older version. Let me know if it doesn't though and I'll release a version that does,
Is the 1.7.9 backwards compatible to 1.7.2, or do I need to use the old 1.6.4 version?

From the looks of it, the Weeping Angels plugin is just an added resource pack that goes with it. Plugins themselves can't add resource packs, those are things that players/users have to be willing to install to their client, just like they have to be willing to install the mod needed to make them work with the other plugin's spawns too.
While this special skin sounds like a nice idea, it also sounds like it's a lot of extra, pain in the butt work that really isn't necessary nor would it be used by a whole lot of Bukkit servers either, considering it would then require the users to install a mod to be able to see the difference anyway.
I think the addition of the upcoming particle effects and other animations are more than enough to tell the difference personally, and can only see the resource pack, skin change addition a bit of a waste of time.

Ok for the weeping angles plugin you re-skin the cyberman as a cyberman but you can still find a zombie as well even tho a cyberman is a zombie. I would like to be able to vizabley see the symptoms of a plague like different colored eyes exe... in fact i would like to do what it shows in the pic. but only for the ones who are sick.
