How To "Opt-Out" of PluginMetrics

"Opting-Out" of using PluginMetrics is quite simple. Follow the instructions below.

I host my server on my computer (home-host)

I do not know how to do this with Linux, sorry :( But should be pretty much the same instructions.

  1. Open up FileExplorer/Finder on your computer (Finder is for Mac, FileExplorer/Windows Explorer is for Windows)
  2. Navigate to the root directory of your server
  3. Go to /plugins/PluginMetrics and open up the config.yml
  4. Change "opt-out: false" to "opt-out: true".
  5. Save the file
  6. Restart your server
  7. Your data will no longer be collected. Please note that this opt-out effects all plugins that use Metrics! There is no other way to simply disable ONLY our plugin.

I run on a dedicated host (FTP Style)

  1. Go to your FTP and login
  2. Navigate to /plugins/PluginMetrics and download the config.yml
  3. Open the config.yml
  4. Change "opt-out: false" to "opt-out: true".
  5. Save and upload the file
  6. Restart your server
  7. Your data will no longer be collected. Please note that this opt-out effects all plugins that use Metrics! There is no other way to simply disable ONLY our plugin.
