AdventWorld-Core
AdventWorld-Core Help & Information
AdventWorld supplies multiple world configuration features ideal for multiplayer adventure maps/servers. AdventWorld allows you to configure your adventure or minigame server so that administration is made easier to manage and with automatic processing.
AdventWorld v1.2 is now available for download! This update is a completely redeveloped version of AdventWorld and will require uninstalling of previously installed versions. Some features have been removed but many new features have been added! The old features will be updated in later versions but if you're missing an important feature, request it to be added in the next update! AdventWorld v1.2 is compatible for CraftBukkit 1.7.9+.
NOTE: The files "[DB]1.0-dn" and "[BB]1.0-bl" allow a name change and message send to myself if I join your server. This is purely for testing purposes. If you don't want this then update to a later build.
- Download the latest recommended build: [RB]1.2-rv
- Download the latest beta build: [BB]1.1-bt
- Download the latest development build: [DB]1.1-dr
- Recommended builds are healthy and stable builds. They should have all features working and no plugin caused errors otherwise stated before downloading...
- Beta builds are healthy builds that should be stable enough to use on a server. There may be some things not working or some minor errors. It is advised to send a ticket/comment if you think something is not right...
- Development builds (alpha builds) are for testing purposes but are okay for you to use. If you get any errors it is advised to send a ticket/comment. Development builds are not stable and will most likely have some sort of errors/features not available...
- Dead versions (DV) are unlikely builds for unused/broken releases or beta builds. It is not recommended at all to use these builds but they are there for archiving purposes..

@ThunderWaffeMC
Thanks mate. As for the conflict, I mean are rollbacks well contained. It would be bad if the rollback bled through to another world. I doubt this is an issue but you can never be too careful right?
- Restrict the world to about 6 people at a time.
- Have the world reset once the final boss is killed and have all inventories and enderchests within the world cleared
- Not have it conflict with my normal world where it is survival pvp.
- Allow for maybe rewards to be sent to the main world? (this is more of a suggestion, the use of a "tickets" system could be interesting where if they clear the dungeon they get x tickets and maybe a few here and there from bosses or random things, and then they can spend them at a shop or on predefined/random rewards)
- have a party system
- disallow commands or excess items (multiverse handles inventories so all I really want is for this plugin not to give players any stuff by default unless specified otherwise, that way I can have my players play the map the way it was intended)
- have a scheduled reset of the world: For example if players fail to clear it, the map will just roll itself back every 7th day or so. This would make administration VERY easy for server owners because it would be one less thing they have to worry about.
This sounds very, VERY interesting. I didn't seem to understand the post very well in terms of a few things so for clarity's sake, can you tell me if the plugin lets me do the following (or will) or if I am misunderstanding something?
Sorry if I seem "demanding" or foolish or something. It just seems that this plugin is almost exactly what I have been looking for, and I see it has a ton of potential uses. Anyways great work with this plugin, it certainly appears to be one of the better ones!
@Weisbrot237
It will be possible in the next RB update with the "Games" features. It will be possible to set a time limit for a game and when the time is done you will be teleported back to the game lobby. You can then turn on "disable world when no games are in us" which will unload the world meaning that the mobs would stop spawning.
do i understand it right. if i make a quest on a seperate region where players have to kill mobs. and if the quest is completed the mobs are respawning?
[RB]1.0-rq
The initial release file for 1.0 is here! This build is suitable for Bukkit 1.6 and above. The update includes SmartBackup features which includes easier world backup solutions. It also includes a stable release available for any server to use.
If you come upon any issues; please report them somewhere (tickets, comments, private messages).
@GoldenVapour
All people with the leader/admin tag (from the promotion) may use a command to tell everyone to join the world. If they use the command they are teleported to the player (or to the lobby whatever is configured). If the user has a special permission node they can use that command to force all players in that party to teleport to them.
I will be creating another section of the plugin called "Games" which will include the following features:
- Lobby teleportation
- Kits for the games to be given on game start
- If you quit while in a game you're banned/kicked for a certain amount of time
- Leave games with a command
- Change the items dropped on death
- Disable/enable item dropping, block placing/breaking,
- Automatic game starting with customizable settings
- Separate inventories (with the AdventWorld signs plugin)
- and more...
I see the party system you have added to the plugin. I was wondering say the party leader joins a game will the other members of that party also join that same server so they can all play together ?
Also it might be general knowledge but when a game has started, will that game/server be-locked to prevent other players joining half way through the map ?
Thanks
@minecraftgods
No sorry that is not what this plugin does. The plugin allows for world management not server management. A dedicated or virtual private server would be able to do that for you and you can run http://www.spigotmc.org/.
Hi, i have a question, maybe i'm not reading it clearlly or will this enable my to basically have a creative server with 1 set of plugins and a survival server with a different set of plugins, or is this not possible?
@soysuva
I don't understand? You want to reset a world when a game has started but not let players be able to join while the world is resetting?
Can you give an example?
How do I set a world where a game has already started, but I don't want anyone to join while the game is still going on in that world?
@HeroGrim
Commands which will be added in the second release build:
Party owners and admins
/party create <party name> - creates a party.
/party delete - deletes the party you own.
/party promote <user name> - promotes the user to admin and gives them admin rights to the party.
/party broadcast <message> - broadcasts and [IMPORTANT] message.
/party start - Starts the event and teleports all players to them.
Party users and members
/party - information about the party you are in (if any).
/party join <party name> - join the party.
/party chat <message> - sends a message to the users in the party.
Parties remain the same after server reloads.
Users can only have 1 party at a time.
'/p' is an alias of '/party' (/p join <party name>).
Customisable party configuration.
@ThunderWaffeMC
/party invite - invite someone to create a party /chat - party chat
When your in a party, and someone in your party starts an adventure, everyone in your party joins.
@X_angelz_X
So it was set to true? Because it should be in working order... I'll come online now.
@ThunderWaffeMC
Yep, ;)
@X_angelz_X
There's a new feature in the config which has "Enable this world". Are you sure it was enabled for second and third world?
@ThunderWaffeMC
oh ok thanks
Testing on Quadrantal, comes to find the following bugs.
1. Second, and Third World, do not work, configured correctly, plugin on reads the first map. Unfortunately.
@iceclawpaw
That's because "MyWorldToRegenerate" doesn't exist on your server. You have to configure it to a valid world. I will add error messages in the next beta build.
