How to format
In your motd's you can use all color codes. For example: &aThis is a green text,&b this is blue!
Additional color codes:
Random color: %rdm
Variables
Display player name: %p
Display the amount of online players: %players
Display how many slots does the server have: %slots
What happens if two LAN players (who share the same external ip-address) view the MOTD?
Also: Can you add another %p mode where it shows the name of the player who joined the server for the last time?
Thanks :-)
@victor2748 Hey, thank you for your suggestions.
I added these features in the latest version for Minecraft 1.6.4.
@MrFlieder
Can you please add the option for custom players/maxplayers, just like in MotdManager plugin?
@MrFlieder
And the in-game commands always screws it up too!
@MrFlieder
it always screws up, and resets, when i have like 5 different motds
@MrFlieder
also, when I restart or reload the server a bunch of times, it stops updating the config and reverts to original
@MrFlieder
Using the command /advancedmotd configreload reloads the config file in the folder but replaces it with the IP file instead of our updated config file. We lose all changes we made and yeah... it becomes the IP file
@victor3284
What's wrong with the config?
TONS OF BUGZ WITH CONFIG!!!!!!!!
@iKraft01
What command do I override?
@FizKoQc
You can configure that in the essentials config.yml where it says command override
Why does this dumb thing keep putting itself back to the default download? Everytime I save it with notepad PlusPlus it just reverts when I /reload and then go into the config file.
Also interested, is it compatible with bungee?
How would this work with Bungee?
Hey, thanks for your comments!
In the new version 1.1.0, I added a function to reload the config file, removed the command alias "motd" and fixed a bug. It will be available soon :)
Nice but you should remove the /motd command and make people use /advancedmotd or /amotd cause /motd bypasses the one from essentials. WEll, Is there any way to make it so it doesnt bypass it ? Liketo keep my /motd command . What I mean by anyway. Like anyway for me. WIthtout you editing the plugins..
This is great and awesome! i am using it on my server and is lightweighted! It could be better if you can add a reload function? So that it will only reload the plugin instead of the server?
Bugs:
When you try to the motd list is empty and you try to delete something that is not there. It will trigger error.
Nice and simple.
