@th3controller
Depends on what you want to achieve ;)
I'm more the type of person who runs plugins which are designed for specific tasks and not bundles if possible, so mChat+PermBuk is perfect for me and works like a charm!
@Lathanael
Complicated with all that mChat and stuff xD.
@th3controller
He could also use PermissionsBukkit if he likes it more :)
@backe899
Ah, well you need a system called a "permission" system or you can make yourself "Op" by typing in the command console "/op <yourname>" without the arrows. Not necessary to put the slash if you are using a command prompt on windows. Also for the permission thingy go visit bPermissions or you can try the most advanced permission system PermissionsEx. I suggest using bPermissions since I heard it is very simple to use. I for one suggest using PermissionsEx if you are managing a huge server which I doubt because most server owners are just for their friends. If you need help setting permissions up please read their Wiki/FAQ's section since it is a hassle to setup permissions.
@th3controller
i mad my own server but don't uderstand how to make a person "myself" a admin
@backe899
Your English is we'll written but I don't understand what you mean by making a person an admin.
how would one go about making a person a admin?
@ClearTranquil
Just because we do not answer doesn't mean we have not noticed te Problem. Best way is always to open a ticket here on devBukkit ;)
@th3controller
Yesss...this works. Thank you. Now the kids will leave me alone.
However, I don't know what else I can do to get in contact with the creators of this plugin to tell them the blacklist is broken in 5.10.0. I might never get to upgrade and get the new features such as TP and Kit delay if this isn't addressed.
I hope you guys like the new Main Page since its more compact and more minimalist but it still gives lots of information!
EDIT: Oops! Forgot to add the Add-on for AdminCMD :P silly me.
@ClearTranquil
I could not help beyond from the extent of the internals of AdminCMD and it's code. I am only very familiar on how it is configured and how it runs. Also luckily for you for some reason I have AdminCMD version 5.9.1 AdminCMD. I hope this resolves your problem and don't forget to delete or put the AdminCMD folder on a different location as the new config for 5.10 might conflict with 5.9.1.
@th3controller
Well, this is a good last resort for me but I use the /more command extensively on my server and the blacklist is also broken with that. So, I need 5.9.1 or find out what I'm doing wrong in 5.10.0. Did the blacklist.text change between versions? Does it still work with both /more and /i?
Thanks guys
@ClearTranquil
Hello ClearTranquil, as you have mentioned that "My players are now spawning everything". I have no knowledge of AdminCMD for awhile and don't really know whats happening since I took down my server since it was very expensive to maintain, but I do have a suggestion for your problem. First try using the data value instead of the name, if this still does not work try and paste your configuration here: http://dev.bukkit.org/paste/ (you can send me more than one if you need to). As a last resort if else fails try using GiveTo this is a fully extensible "give" and "item" with a full permission support which acts like a blacklist but check it out first. GiveTo however uses "/gme" instead of the original "/i" command. If you want to change this feel free to ask me for a modified version.
Sincerely, th3controller
Hi, I'm on Bukkit 1493 - Not RB I know - running PEX. I needed to let you know that since updating from 5.9 to 5.10 the blacklist for admincmd.item.add is NOT working. My players are now spawning everything.
Can you hook me up with 5.9 until you fix this? I can't find a download link for that version.
Thanks.
@hoptocraft
Yep It is :)
Is the SuperBreaker (1-hit-Axe) logged in LogBlock too?
@Matsurosuka
When using the air/replace command, the change in the block is logged in logblock.
@All : 5.10 RELEASED (finally)
@ClearTranquil
You should ONLY remove the "Space" before the ":" not the one after it!!!!
@ClearTranquil
try parsing your permissions file for errors here http://yaml-online-parser.appspot.com/
@Lathanael
EDIT: Sorry, it's even worse now. I actually get a game-breaking bug with PEX:
