A simple plugin perfect for anarchy servers or any other server types that want to spice up rain storms.
FEATURES:
- Configurable percent chance to make rain acidic
- Configurable percent chance to poison.
- Configurable damage amounts and intervals.
- Configurable string to warn users of the acid rain. Color codes included.
- Full leather prevents damage from acid rain (can be disabled)

Chance storms will be acidic (0 - 100)
acid-rain-chance: 50
Time between in seconds
check-interval: 10
Damage per interval
damage-per: 1
How many half-hearts to stop damage at.
damage-cutoff: 0
Leather armor will act like a raincoat
leather-raincoat: true
Rain can be poisonous
poison-rain: false
Chance to poison a player (0 - 100)
poison-chance: 10
Duration of poison effect in seconds
poison-duration: 5

Posted Jun 20, 2013Could you add a config option to change the potion effect ID of the "poison" effect, effectively making it a "Potion" rain? I'm using ICBM mod and I'd like to see if I can add Radiation to the rain. It'd be interesting making a blinding or dizzying rain.

Posted May 21, 2013Does this work with snow? I changed the message to be for frostbite damage instead of acid as my entire server is snowy :P I dont seem to take any damage though.

the plugin won't work. It loads without a error message. To test it I set the chance to 100 but nothing happens.

Thanks! Awesome man this is perfect.
Just a suggestion: Make a customizable chance for rain to be acidic, for example you can put 50% and every time it rains there will be a 50% chance of it being acidic, and 50% chance of it being normal rain.

As it affects all rain, You get to decide yourself. You could have it simply be in the broadcasts informing players of it. And if nothing else, they will notice when it hits them.
Edit: try v0.2 when it is up. I added a message that triggers when rain starts, the warning is toggleable and the message is configurable and supports chatcolors.
