Fake McBans
== FAKE MCBANS ==
This is a VERY simple plugin I use on my server to scare griefers away (at least some of them) The jar file itself is called "FakeMcBans.jar" but in the /plugins menu, it just says McBans. This is very useful to scare griefers away from your server if you don't really want McBans because you might actually be banned from it. I myself am NOT banned from McBans, but from seeing multiple youtube griefing videos, they use /plugins and maybe they don't grief if they see McBans on the list.
Please note that this is my FIRST plugin. It's not very hard to make, I know. I am very new to developing plugins and java in general. So please don't post any hate comments on here. I will have some nicer, more useful plugins soon :D
Since your last login was in 2012, I'll make the plugin. I still hope, it's okay with you, but if you discover my plugin, and find it disturbing, feel free to tell me. Then I'll stop the project. :-)

It's a very good idea, so I made an identic plugin. (To test my skills. It's my first plugin too) And I added a single command: /mcbans <Player> It sends the player a fake warning: "[McBans] You have recieved a warning! Stop breaking the rules, or you will get banned by McBans!"
And I want to ask you, if you find it okay, if I create a new project, called 'FakeMcBans' or something like that?
I really hope, it's okay with you. Because, i'm very proud of my nooby plugin ^^
Nice plugin, I myself don't want to use MCBans because it's a cruel plugin that can ruin a player's reputation. But I can say I use it when i really don't to scare griefers.
the real mcbans is spelt like this mcbans with NO caps so if there are real griefers they relise its fake.
Hahaha! Nice. Just what I've been looking for!

Ok Well, This is my first bukkit plugin. I am still learning, I was messing around with the plugin.yml file.
Also, I'll change the permission message to "No Permission" and ill need to figure out how to make it broadcast a message to the player when they join to make it say "Server secured by McBans.
@BrassZeppelin
Why not just use a plugin like PluginList that disables or hides plugins, or disables the command ./pl completely?
@Gunnerrrrr
In a good way or a bad way? lol..
