PVP-Board
Welcome to
PVPBoard
The new way to create PvP Servers
What does it do?
easy question, easy answer. This allows you to create a 16 line scoreboard without the requirements of coding it in yourself.
Just load the plugin, edit the scoreboard.yml and you are ready to go
How is this any different?
at the moment.... It probably isn't! But in the future this will extend to become so much more than a regular
PVP Scoreboard plugin
Any exciting features?
The only two i can name is the custom defined variables and the color coding. No matter where it is set on the scoreboard. It changes
Such as
&cHello
would turn into
Hello
What variables are there?
Currently... Only five! These variables include:
<onlineCount> - Displays the amount of players online
<Kills> - Displays the players current kills
<Deaths> - Displays the amount of times the player has died
<KDR> - to display how many kills they will get before they die (Kill Death Ratio)
and
<playerName> - Displays the players current name
How do i use it?
Easily! Though because i never really work with YML it is a bit different.
Most probably will be changed in the future
You get 3 types of areas
Rows = How many lines there will be in the scoreboard
Name = the title of the scoreboard
and the numbers = what the certain line says
The lines go backwards from 16 -> 1 mainly because of Minecraft putting the
highest on the top (Therefor its a SCOREboard)
Are there any commands or permissions?
Yes! There are a few commands and one permission!
The two commands that require no permissions are as followed:
/toggleboard - Hide/Show your scoreboard
/pvpboard - Returns the creators and a link to this page
and these commands (only one) requires the permission: pvpboard.admin
/reloadboard - Sends the new YML data to the server as well as display the new board
changes to every player
That is pretty much it! Apart from the link below where you can view the source code if you want
You can view the codes here
So this can be set per world? Or does apply to all worlds?
In reply to zekolin:
Sadly at this time the plugin applies to all worlds but if you need something to set scoreboards for separate worlds i can implement that feature in
