Hey ladies and gents! You may notice a few new things here and there around the old BukkitDev page. We've launched the new and improved site to further integrate and match the rest of our sites. Bringing with it a multitude of improvements in speed, efficiency, and usability.
Whether you're just looking for that right plugin, or you're looking to start your own project, the process has been much improved all around.
Of course, for plugin creators, we know that this is a huge change, and our support staff is working right now to make sure that our knowledge base articles get updated as quickly as possible to provide all of the information needed to make the transition as easy as possible. At the moment, you can take a look at our "Creating Your First Project" article here.
As we adjust and get everything in the right place over the next few days, you can expect longer wait periods on file approvals. We want to make sure we don't miss anything and that the process runs as smoothly as possible.
And as always, if you have any questions or comments feel free to reach out to myself @MrFlamegoat or @CurseForge on Twitter - you can also drop us a line at cfmoderation[at]curse.com and we'll make sure we do our best to help.

It's been over a month, and yet, every single /pages/ link created before the disaster is still broke. (That's a 30 second fix ffs) Every single /media/images/ link is still broke. All the project specific forums? Still gone.
So, did they break it on purpose and are refusing to fix it, making it an act of willful maliciousness? Or do they not know what they're doing, thus making it incompetence?
Here's the 30 second fix:
nginx:
apache:
lighttpd:
Ta-da! That was easy. Seriously. Why the hell is it taking over a month to do something that simple?
No communication was made to explain why the switch was made with these bugs present. This is an objective fact.
Simple testing in a development environment with a copy of live data would have shown these bugs rather quickly. This is an objective fact.
Most of the major bugs would have been noticed if testing was done before the switch. This combined with the lack of accepting responsibility, and lack of communication, has made me and many others lose faith. Communication up to this point has been pretty much just PR.
Many of us have thrown money at Bukkit when the paypal link was still up (not knowing that Bukkit was owned by a multibillion dollar corporation). Others have submitted various patches and fixes to CB/Bukkit. I wouldn't call it hostility. I'd call it righteous anger. This isn't Curse's project. Bukkit is its users, its developers, its admins, its code. Over the years, it became our project: Siguza's and dutchy1001's, mine and yours, caliog's and genalcomb's. It is a community, and it needs to be treated as such. You want people to accept and understand, you should be willing to do the same. Understand why people are upset, and accept that someone dropped the ball. Briefly explain why things were broke, what led to those decisions, what steps are being taken to fix it, and what you will do to prevent a similar problem in the future. List known major problems and their priority.
Is there any way to put the WYSIWYG editor back into source mode?
As soon I click the "forum" button it redirects me to bukkit.org and wont let me sign in (yes, I do have an account there).
How can I make a new post as I have some serious issue's changing some details in the general TAB of a resource that needs altering????
You should be able to sign into your bukkit.org forum account like always. We have not changed the forums. If you keep having issues, toss me a PM, I'll be happy to help.
dunno why but while clicking through some of the pages I was logged in suddenly, so that issue should be fine.
I'm more worried that I cant change anything in the "general" tab from my resources (I tried on different resources which all have the same issue). I need to change a donation option, but as soon I want to save the page it tells me that there is already a resource with that name. I don't want/need to change the plugin name.
We have a ticket in for this, I'll see if I can bump it up and get it fixed :]
Anyone knows how to add youtube videos in project descriptions ?
maybe use the "embed a video" button??
Tells me "we dont support this video platform blabla".
Did you try it since last update ?
Copied this from my main page of our plugin.
We cant see what code is used (E.G. ) but using the button seems not to work indeed.
We're aware of a bug preventing some users from embedding YouTube videos using the form tool in this edit box. We have a ticket in and hope to have it fixed soon :]
How you mean some users??
Either we can use it or not, there should not be a difference who can or can not use it.
Also can you look into why we cant change the "General" settings from a resource (see message #113)?
It's possible that it's a browser-related issue, so a user on one browser may not have a problem while a user on another browser does.
Personally, it doesn't affect me because I'm not embedding videos anywhere.
@Stormbow
Point taken on that.
It doesn't effect me either as the vid was already on the page, and I don't see an updated vid been made soon.
10 days later my last post and 0 respond.
Most say this is sad to see.
Guess only thing left to say is over and out and all the best, see you on the other site(s).
Hate to see you go, but if so, I understand!
Many of us have been out for the holidays, spending time with our families after finishing up quite a few large scale migrations. Now that the rough stuff is done, we'll be getting back to working on finding and fixing the remaining issues that we can.
Either way, thanks for being a part of the community.
Remind us... How much do you pay for this website? </ entitled>
Any news on the Paste function or not working deep linking to pages? When will the report function be fixed? Forums? Localzation? This update sucks balls.
