As with all my plugins, i have decided to move them onto the Spigot servers, mainly for the extra flexibility it will give me, and the security that i can host the files on my own server!

Write & Publish
Write & Publish allows players to publish a book (save it on the server) with /publish <name for the book>. When a book is published you can buy it for yourself or for an other player with /buybook <name of the book> [optional: name of player you want to give it]. To look which books you can buy use: /listbooks . You can configure every price in the config.yml.
- Important: This plugin Requires Vault to work, and some economy-system-plugin that works with Vault (the prices won't affect without)!
- Recommended: use Java 7 to start the server, this plugin is not tested with other versions

Planned features
- command to remove a book (you can already remove them by deleting the file of the book you want to remove)

Thanks to Blindw4lk3r for the code that writes the books to text files and converts them back to books. :)

Please comment if you have a good idea for the plugin (example: new command, configurable thing or just something else).

Hey Everyone, Im Bubbawild, and as Diederikmc has said, i will be taking over this plugin!
I hope to add some very cool stuff in, and eventually ensure that all the requests that i can add are added!
If you have any further suggestions, feel free to either post a reply, or even easier for me would be to open a ticket :)

Posted Feb 24, 2013Could you add an option for a book specific price, that will override the global price? Then add an additional config option "percentforauthor" for when they set the price (or something along those lines). I'd like to be able to offer some books for free (such as a rulebook, or command guides) as well.

Posted Feb 20, 2013Sorry about the late reply! No I don't use any economy plugin so that would explain it. When I ran the server's bat file, it usually says [SEVERE] yada yada why it isn't working but I don't recall ever seeing even that when I looked for it. I did download it, maybe the count isn't real time? That's all I can think of. But it looks like the problem was just me so that is good. I found another plugin that worked for me. Thank you though!

Sorry, my Vault, the plugin needs Vault and an economy plugin to work, the plugin uses prices, it should have reported that Vault wasn't found in the server log, always read the server log to solve problems ;)
PS: In the information on the left of the plugin stands: Downloads: 0, but you downloaded it, how could that be???
EDIT: I know I can't guess what the problem is, but this is the most logic explanation. I tested the plugin very much times, and v2.1 is fully working (if Vault is installed and if there's an economy plugin( I use BOSEconomy, you can use whatever economy-plugin you want that hooks with Vault))

Posted Feb 15, 2013Sounds perfect but I put the jar file in my plugins folder and ran the server's bat file and the server didn't even acknowledge its existence. I tried re-downloading it and restarting the server again and still nothing. :( Just me?
