When a rift starts tearing away and consuming your world, you must run, formulate a plan and seek a way to stop this infernal madness

A Rip in Reality is a plugin about escaping the ever growing void consuming your world. You must start with no items and build a rocket ship made by placing a coal block, then stacking 5 blocks of iron, then a diamond block and a end rod on top. You then blast off and create a space station and mine space debris. When space debris is mined you can right-click to get some iron to expand the space station. You then need to build a capsule. When the capsule is built, you will return to earth and enter the rift, where you must seek the creature in the rift and stop all this madness....

To use this plugin you will need a powerful server. When all participating players have joined, a spectator / admin will fly very far away and do the command /rstart (requires permission r.start) the rip will open and will destroy a chunk at a time in a random location within 10 blocks. In case of an emergency, you can do /rstop (requires permission r.stop) which will kill the rift. If a player falls into the rift they will die and be disqualified.

Tips

- You can punch rift sources above the rift to gain a portable black hole, this can then be made into any resource by right-clicking

- Get your gear before placing the end rod on the rocket. Placing the end rod triggers the take off sequence!

- Stay on the move! Every 5 minutes your location is marked for death, 2 minutes later a rift will open at that place!

- When returning to earth be ready! The capsule will open a portal to the rift and the boss will come out and kill you!

- End rods now have crafting recipes to save you from going to the End!

- Make sure to build a booster! Its hard to move in space

- Don't forget about Epic Moments! Check crafting recipes for the way to make them
