PortalStick
Have you ever wanted to have portal gun in minecraft? Have you ever wanted to make your own portal test chambers and make your friends solve it? Now you can do this!
PortalStick is plugin that tries to emulate Portal as close as possible in Minecraft without client mods.
For errors, problems and suggestion make a ticket! Errors, problems and suggestions in comments will be ignored.
Higlights
- Allows you to create blue and orange portals!
- Allows you to teleport between blue and orange portals!
- Preserves momentum when teleporting between portals (speedy thing goes in, speedy thing comes out)
- Can teleport practically everything like redstone current, minecarts, gravel, TNT, items, water etc.
- You can create various portal elements such as Aperture Science Material Emancipation Grill, Aerial Faith Plates, Blue gel blocks and Red gel blocks
- Supports Permissions! (optional)
- Ability to create regions, so players can create portals only in specified area.
- Diamond boots can prevent fall damage
Demonstration Course
PortalStick Demonstration course is little course build by me (matejdro) and CuteLord to demonstrate new features of PortalStick after each update. You have probably already seen first part of the course in the first video above.
You can download this course and try it yourself. It's great to do that after update, so you can instantly try new features while having fun. I'm also trying to make a story out of these series.

But if you don't want to download and set up whole new server just to try some stuff, you can watch walkthroughs of these courses, to familiarize yourself with new features.

Once its all going, the code will take a few seconds to migrate between versions, since it relies on next to no nms, and when it does, its a couple of methods and i just need to change the version tag. With portal size, is 1 by two big enough for wall portals, and 1 by 1 big enough for floor portals (the portals on the ground have an activation area, so you don't need to have an amazing aim or anything.)

Posted May 24, 2016As long as you can update as fast (or faster) than BKCommonlib, NMSutils will be fine with me. Haven't yet found a plugin that works as well as this 3 year old version, their portals are too small and apply extra velocity, more picky about placement, etc.

I actually redid the entire thing from scratch, cause porting between bk, libigot and nmsutils lead to some interesting code. NMSUtils also had some things added to make portal easier, although it needs testing as it might break other plugins as it is atm.

Also I'll go in contact with you about transfairing ownership of other parts (github etc. or did you transfair everything to your servers anyway?) soon. :)

I have a version lying around somewhere that has a custom texture pack with animated portals that look like the ones from the game (without being able to see through them of course), it also has lasers and 3d buttons and all sorts of stuff. No idea when its gonna be finished tho, University happened.

Posted Mar 29, 2015We are slowly getting this plugin working again, but 1.8 forced a recode due to BKCommonLib and other things no longer working. And it is fine for you to use the plugin, that's what its there for. If you want to see the plugin in action, ask around on my server, tangentmc.net, but there is a lot of work being done on it behind the scenes while i add a lot of components. Like lasers. and real portals.

Posted Mar 12, 2015Hi! AWESOME plugin!!! What version of Minecraft does it support? Because I have a Minecraft CraftBukkit 1.8 server and the portals don't seem to work for me. The emancipation grills work but I can't quite get the portals to work. It lets me place them out on andesite but when I try to go though them it does nothing.
