Playground
This plugin is a dummy plugin, and it contains all the necessary elements for a fully working plugin (the most basic plugin in the world XD). All you need to do is unzip it and use view the files in Eclipse (if it will work). The plugin.yml file is useful as a template as well as the main class. This is the first plugin I have ever made, and I plan on pursuing a future of developing more plugins. If you would like to contact me, my online Alias is SeanMXD. If I am on any website or app, that will be my username (MXDSean, on a select few). Look around for me :D. The coding inside is posted on http://pastebin.com/26Aav19w
Wait, that Pastebin link is ALL the code? That's either all wrong or useless. Let's start here
1. Those onEnable() and onDisable() methods do not provide any usage whatsoever as Bukkit automatically prints those messages to the console when it enables and disables.
2. The command has absolutely no purpose, and you're also missing an @Override annotation (Which should be present in all methods overriden by an implementing class)
3. Your naming conventions do not follow Java's naming conventions. Your main class should not be "main". Not only is it lower case (All classes start with a capital letter. It should be "Main"), it should be the name of the plugin
I see no use in this plugin. I assume you were attempting to create some sort of template for new developers to use, but you can't do that if you're a new developer yourself. It's evident you do not know how to write plugins yourself either.
This isn't me saying "Stop making plugins, never do it ever", I don't want to crush your dreams. What I'm saying is learn a little bit more and post a plugin that people may find actual use out of. That means something that no one has made before! Something creative, unique, and in-depth! Learn as much as you can, then see what you can challenge yourself to do.
