Make Towers of light, using signs. This would have to be the oddest plugin i have made but i have found it useful for when trying to signal to people.
Signs:
Line 1: [Light Tower]
line 2: (Tower height as number) - e.g. 9
line 3: Have Redstone(For redstone towers) , Have Delete (For Tower Deletion)
Toggling:
Right click sign....Done!
Redstone:
Redstone can be used to toggle the tower on or off, just set the 3 line to "Redstone" to indicate that it is a redstone tower.
Supports Permissions (defaults to OP):
"Celeixen.Lighttower" - Allows placement/ Deleting of Light Towers

v0.3 - Fixed permission sign error
v0.4 - added Redstone Light towers

Posted Dec 2, 2011You should have an option to have an air block or sign slowly move up/down the tower taking the spot of the glowstone to give it a "beacon" look.
