About the plugin:

Lets you give groups to those PvP winners - or bring shame to those murderers...

Have you ever needed a quick way to identify how many kills you have? Maybe you're just a PvP server admin who is awesome and decided to come here to get a score keeping plugin.

Nevertheless!! KillScore is your plugin.

  • Let's you define ranks with how many kills, custom group name, and chat colors too!
  • Keeps score of kills
  • Changes of rank happen immediately - no reloading

How to Use:

    - Kills: 0
        Name: Innocent
        Color: gray
    - Kills: 15
        Name: Murderer
        Color: dark_red

Can you make it so that the console can run a command when they get the rank. Or where it sets you to a rank in the config. Therefore you can make the player be set to a group. That would be great and I really need it for my server!!

Hi, can you add a command so that it shows how many kills you have? For example, /kills ? or /stats ?

I enjoy this plugin alot, but for some reason it interferes with Faction. Lets say Im in the faction halo, it will say aHalo e[Innocent]Draconicthor(1) : Hi

    Can you fix?

Hrm yeah we might have to do that. I've never really hooked into another plugin (except spout) before so it might take some time.

EDIT: I think we/I should try to hook into a permissions plugin, or a chat prefix plugin.

We could hook set it so that when they reach a certain level it ranks them up in pex. All the owner has to do is make the ranks that they want the player ranked to.

This might work but will involve a lot more code for the little it does. Another way might be to hook into a plugin that does prefix's. Mqybe simple prefix or alike

I might look into this but it may be beyond me time wise at the moment.

    Good or bad idea????

Darn... Well the problem is that Bukkit only lets plugins set the format of the players chat. AFAIK I can't take the format PermissionsEx is going to use, and add it to my own.

So what's happening is PEx is coded to have a higher priority than KillScore. It gets the final decision on what the Chat format is going to look like.

I will look into how to fix this, since it's basically the whole point of the plugin! (If anyone thinks i'm wrong about this, go ahead and tell me how to fix it please!)

It works just how I wanted it to! Thanks again. The only problem is it conflicts with Permissions. I use PermissionsEx, and when I install it into my server it doesn't show any ranks. Instead it still just shows everyone's titles, like [Member] and [Mod] and stuff.
