What can I do with GroupBasedPvP?

With GroupBasedPvP (or GBPVP for short) you can create a complex PvP structure in your bukkit server. It is coded to be stable and easy to understand as much as possible. Besides the configuration options this plugin also comes with some permission nodes to expand your pvp imagination.So what are you waiting for? Take your damn editor and create a new pvp structure to your server!

I have an Issue: I have a group that can't attack each other in global, but I set up a region that they can pvp.

First they can't attack in the normal world, and when they go to that region they do normal pvp.

The problem is when they leave that region, the can still kill each other!

I apologise for my bad english, i hope you understand the problem.

Is it possible to make groups using permission? Just simpel, team 1 has permission 'team.1' and team 2 has 'team.2' for example.

Or else, do you know a plugin which provides this function, its just all I need..

Thanks for the reply, I am happy to wait as the current setup has been working fine for months, I just wanted to make sure you are aware of this issue before I am forced to update pex.

I wanted to fix this but I have some problems with my workspace. After resolving them I will update GroupBasedPvP. Just to provide a quick temporary fix: Open the jar, open the plugin.yml and add the following line below "version: ..." : "depend: [PermissionsEx]"

Hey,

Thanks again for this great plugin, I am using permissionsex v1.19.5 with GroupBasedPVPv2.1.1 and it works great. If I try to use the latest version of pex ( permissionex v1.20.3) I get the following error on server start up.

Hi, i use this plugin alot and i yust switchd from Pex to Yapp since yapp is better for my needs, even tho Yapp supports vault people on the same group can punch eachother even though i use the same config as i used with Pex could you support Yapp or is there something else i need to do?

What does this plugin do. the description is very brief. if it stops people with the same permission node then this is the plugin im looking for.

Could you add in the config to disable ops not being able to be hit. I like to make my rank a lower rank to play survival but I keep op on if something happens.

I was wondering if you could make the plugin work with Flan's weapons mod (I'm running an MCPC server). It does a great job at protecting people from normal PVP, but I can't get it to work with Flan's, as in protecting people from bullets! I would be so thankful! Thanks for making a great plugin anyway :)
