EndlessEnchant

Use EndlessEnchant to create abnormal item enchantments! With a few fail-safes here and there, it's practically guaranteed to get you what you want! EndlessEnchantReloaded originated from here.

Installation

Just drag and drop the .jar file into your Minecraft server's \plugins directory and you're done! Git 'er dun'!

Features

Easy Installation, Much Customization
Kit Enchantments (Armor, Tools, Swords, Bows) (Fully Customizable with Aliases!)
Many aliases of which you can customize through the enchants.yml file, applies on every startup (/EE Alias <enchantment name/kit name> or /EE Aliases)
Have only the shimmering enchanted effect on an item by using "/EE Glow"!
Customizable global cap on level so that people without a certain permission can't abuse it horribly
Failsafe upon enchanting an item so much that the enchantment becomes negative
Failsafe upon attempting to enchant with a negative enchantment

Commands

EndlessEnchant has one base command: /EE. By using this one command, you have access to all of the plugin's features!

Permissions

Basic	Advanced	Admin
EndlessEnchant.Help - Needed for the base command: /EE	EndlessEnchant.Kits - /EE Kits	EndlessEnchant.Endless - Permission for enchanting above a configurable level
EndlessEnchant.Usage - /EE Usage(Usage can be replaced with '?')	EndlessEnchant.Kits.* - Able to use all kit enchantments
EndlessEnchant.Aliases - /EE Alias(es)	EndlessEnchant.Kits.Armor - Able to do /EE Armor <level>
EndlessEnchant.Enchantments - /EE Enchantments	EndlessEnchant.Kits.Swords - Able to do /EE Swords <level>
EndlessEnchant.Enchant.* - /EE Add (or enchantment name) <name/level> <level>	EndlessEnchant.Kits.Tools - Able to do /EE Tools <level>
EndlessEnchant.Disenchant - /EE Remove	EndlessEnchant.Kits.Bows - Able to do /EE Bows <level>
EndlessEnchant.Enchant - /EE Add (Enchanting items up to a limit)

hey man ur plugin is great it is extremely usefull to create a factions kitpvp server or such but you cant use this to for example :shrp5+shrp5=shrp6
i wld rly like this to be added. cause if you add this the survival servers can use them for a smp like server but with some modifications and ofcourse we shld be able to set a combining limit to like enchant X pls do this man. anyways weather you do this or not great plugin i would rate it 5 of 5

Mind if I ask you to re-implement the level display? For example, when I enchant the weapon to lvl 100, it shows up as roman numeral C instead of enchantment.level.100.

Ah, yes, I too hate how this shows up... I could do this, it would just heavily use the lore system. I think I'll make it configurable.

Realistically, though, I don't see why Mojang decided to include the levels in the language files for the enchantments when they could have written code to decode it.

I agree, it's just one of those things mojang didn't quite flesh out and just left to be used by the players. They even limited the frostwalker enchantment, displaying their awareness to the extra amplifier enchantments which were never obtainable in-game, but obtainable through commands.

What I'm even more upset about is that it's possible to do in code, and considering that their code is the start of the chain, they should have the final say in what they do, just like they have with everything else. I just see it as laziness on their part at this point.

With that said, I've learned that it makes the enchantment levels a little uglier (although prettier) as you go up, because there's no support for X̄ in Minecraft, the formatting gets wonky. Without that, it's hard to express 10,000 (bar means x1000). So then, we're left to use M for every 1000, which gets quite annoying to see MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM... etc for 10,000-32767

The other alternative is to denote this with:

XXXMMDCCLXVII (32767)

And even then, I'm sure I'd get complaints from people about how they can't read roman numerals, god knows I have to look them up as I go right now; it's an old and decrepit numbering system. XD

mhm, I for one asked for the roman numerals for the sake of consistency, but it's understandable to forsee other users not understanding the numerical system. Especially the long ones you mentioned. Maybe one day, Mojang will finally fix that "wonky" format. :P

Hey loyal followers! I've revived the plugin, and made it easier to update with future versions of Minecraft! Terribly sorry for taking so long, recently got a job and started attending college! Feel free to download it, and if you're overjoyed enough, donate!

New version coming in about 5 minutes for the enchantments that have come about in 1.11 (curse of vanishing, curse of binding, and sweeping edge)!

Hey guys! Sorry I've been inactive... this whole transition to 1.8 and all with Mojang possessing Bukkit and Microsoft buying Minecraft has kinda scared me. I'm back in activity now, and an update is pending... I'd just like to know if you guys would prefer a more configurable EndlessEnchant (where you create the subkits and alias lists, etc!) or the more formatted and set in stone one (just like it is now, except with new enchantments)!

Please let me know ASAP, I suppose the update will be pending until I get about 5 responses (more would be appreciated, though!)

Is it possible yo put an enchanted pickaxe using endless in an essentials kit. So i can do /kit oppickaxe and it will give them the pickaxe with like efficency 50?
