Tired of having to place wood logs again and again to have them face the correct direction?
With this plugin you can easily rotate wood logs by left clicking them while sneaking!
Also feature the hidden "bark only" wood with a dedicated permission.
How to:
- Sneak & Left-click on a wood block to rotate it.
Features:
- Rotate wood logs
- Permissions
- Access to the "bark only" wood log (bark on all faces)
- V1.1: Now support Worlguard's regions
- V1.2 : No longer rotate if you have an axe in hand.
- V1.2.1: Now also work in Creative Mode
- Can force placed logs to look up with a special permission
Note: V1.2 was compiled with Java 1.7 so I can't guarantee it will work if you use an older JVM

Permission nodes:
- woodrotator.rotate (default true)
- woodrotator.bark (default op)
- woodrotatorplace.forceup (default false) Force placed wood to face up.
Note: If you don't want to use permissions, open the .jar with winrar and modify the default values inside the plugin.yml.
Configuration
- None ! Everything is done with permissions.

Mmh, if I make it work the same way than in survival but cancel the block destruction, is that ok for you ?
EDIT: Done, get 1.2.1 for fixed Creative Mode (Awaiting Approval).

It is written that the author is spitfire25565, but maybe I'm wrong...
We've also made a similar plugin ("Rotate"), and it's funny because we discovered the bark only feature thanks to a bug, but I said: "This is cheat!" and so we removed this...
So many people like this that I think we should'nt...^^
So good job, and if you want, our plugin is open source, maybe it will interest you..

I started working on this, there is a 1.2-snapshot on github if you want (check the plugin.yml for the related node), It's still a snapshot because I'm not really satisfied of how I made the permission for this (had to use another node than "woodrotator" to avoid some issues with perms plugins).

Posted Aug 17, 2012Please add a permission to place rotated wood at all, everyone without this permission should not be able to place rotated wood/the wood should rotate to standard angle.
Or make a command to toggle wood rotating on and off beacause it can be very annoying. Thanks :)

It wasn't a bug linked to this plugin. But I looked into it, seem like this is because the part of the bukkit api he is using wasn't yet updated with the new rotated datas.
