WalkSpeedFix
Some servers are having an issue with 1.4.2 where all their players walk extremely slowly or the world is upside-down.
This issue is documented below, although it seems rare.

This plugin is a quick-and-dirty fix for the issue.
Simply sets players to the default walk-speed, not sneaking, and not sprinting at login.
Players only need to join once, and the effect will be permenant.
If you have a small number of players, if they all join once, you can remove the plugin and the effect will remain.

Posted May 27, 2013Just started using the server again, after about a 10 month hiatus, and upon startup it has this bug. The plugin works for startup, but upon opening inventory it bugs again. I am not running essentials, but I am running WorldEdit.
Not sure if related, but not able to pick up blocks either, however that aspect is only there when plugins are loaded.

Try removing plugins, something else has to be changing your speed.

Posted Nov 1, 2012I saw that you guys were looking at Essentials to fix this. My server has this issue and I don't use Essentials. If LogBlock, WorldEdit, WorldGuard, and Essentials are the only plugins you all had in common. Then WorldEdit and WorldGuard are the only two I'm also using.
