TwitBukkit

With the TwitBukkit Plugin you can tweet on your Servers Twitter Account or listen to your favorite Twitter Users. Using /tweet you can tell @notch how much you love his game or notice @jeb_ about the newest Bug you found. While doing that you get the latest news from your favorite twitter users.

How To

Download the Plugin
Install it
Start your Server ( or reload it )
Go to your plugins folder and open the new Folder TwitBukkit
You now need an Access Token and its Secret. You find an Manual here
Copy the Config to the Config Directory of TwitBukkit
Now reload your Server
If everything is Okay you should now start Twittering by using /tweet Your Tweet here

Permissions

/tweet TwitBukkit.tweet

OAuthSetup

This is a Command Line Program which generates the Config. Start a console and run java -jar OAuthSetup.jar or for Windows javaw -jar OAuthSetup.jar

The API

Its quite simple ! Just include TwitBukkit as Library, make a Code to check whether TwitBukkit is installed and then use TwitterAPI.updateStatus("Status"); or TwitterAPI.getTwitter(); Warning this needs an correct TwitBukkit Config !!!

Please update this plugin, I'd love to use it on my server.. :) I can't use it because it won't make any TwitBukkit folder. Sorry for my bad English, I'm Dutch. Thank you. :)

Everytime i type in the url it says: the request token for this page is invalid. It may have already been used, or expired because it is too old. I typed it in exactly.

OAuthSetup is no plugin. It has to be run seperately.

OAuthSetup must be out dated beacuse it won't run on my server. Is there any other way to get it to work?

I've been looking for something like this. We use rTriggers where I can set up macro commands when players use custom commands we setup. Example of what we use rTriggers for: /xrayer PlayerName = /globalban PlayerName We have detected you using an XRay. My plans for a plugin that could send a twitter post to our twitter account when someone reads the rules and agrees, then when they are a full member. Players ingame will not be using the twitbukkit commands, I'll have them run console-side through rTriggers. We will also use rTriggers to block the twitbukkit commands ingame since you don't have permissions and do not plan to add permissions. (Might be a big turn off for people wanting a plugin as this.)

Does the commands work well console side? Does the OAuthSetup.jar have to be ran on the same machine where the plugin is being ran?

tried to run OAuthSetup.jar and get this:
