Installation And Configuration

Installation

To Install SpoutBroadcast Just Place It In Your Plugins Folder And Start Your Server Or Reload Your Plugins (You Must Also Have Spout In Your Plugin Folder And Be Using The SpoutCraft Client To See Any Changes). It Will Create The Necessary Files With Default Options Which Are Easy To Understand But Will Be Explained Below.

Configure

The Messages File Contains All The Messages You Want To Be Broadcast. The Numbers Are The Order In Which They Will Be Broadcast And Must Not Miss A Number e.g 1,2,4 Otherwise The Messages After That Missed Number Will Not Get Broadcast. The Colour Codes Are In RGB Format. Each One Of The Three Numbers Is A Number Between 1 And 255. If A Number Is Missing It Will Default To The Relevant Number In The Configuration File.

The Configuration File Contains The Broadcast Interval And The Global Override Delay. The Broadcast Interval Is A Number In Seconds Between Each Message. The Global Override Delay Is The Time In Seconds That A Global Override Lasts. Once This Time Is Over Broadcasts Will Continue As Usual. The Configuration File Also Contains The Default Colours For Various Things. These Colours Are In The Same Format As The Messages Colours. They Are The Default Colours For The Messages, For The Global Override Command And For The Player Override Command. Also In This Configuration File Are The Colour Names. These Colours Can Be Referenced When Using The Override Commands To Change The Text Colour.

Command Usage

To Do a Global Override (Change Everyone's Message Until The Global Override Delay Is Over) Type (/sbroad say any random message) Without The Brackets. To Change The Colour Of That Message Using A Colour From The Configuration File Type (/sbroad say -blue this message is blue) Without The Brackets. To Do A Player Override (Display A Pop-Up For The Specified Player With The Message And An Ok Button Which When Clicked Sends The Player Who Sent The Pop-Up An Acknowledgement Message) Type (/sbroad player username this is the message) Without The Brackets. To Change The Colour Of That Message Using The Configured Colours Type (/sbroad player username -blue this message is blue) Without The Brackets.

Permissions

The Current Permissions Plugin Supported Is PermissionsEx. The Permission Nodes Are spoutbroadcast.say And spoutbroadcast.player. OP Can Use Both Commands By Default.
