Simple Tab API for Bukkit (STAB)

What is it?
STAB is an API for Bukkit that provides TabList editing. This plugin itself dos not modify the way tab works, it is only an API for developers. This API works using a lot of what Java is great for, OOP. Developers, please check this out to learn more on how to integrate STAB into your plugin.

Well hello there mr/ms. Dev. I'm sure you have seen many Tab editing APIs out there, but I feel that this one is the easiest and most efficent to use. You can have as many TabLists as you want, send them to specifi players in specific worlds, and evenkeep track of which tab list a player is using. You can get all the tab lists a plugin uses, a priority scale keeps things in check, and there is even an Event API for joining and quitting players. The plugin automatically shortens all Tab entries to 16 chars, so you dont have to worry about that! If You want to add STAB into your plugin, check out this page.

Well, TabAPI is not OOP based, meaning that you cannot create sperate "TabObjects". By doing this, you can make a lot of the work your plugin has to do more efficient, plus with my experience as a ev, it's a lot easier to use. Plus, I have added a lot of nice connivence methods to the program to help developers use the plugin better. @MinecraftShamrock
Do you mean the Name Plate? There are already API's for that (TagAPI is one I'm very fond of) @jommeke

Posted Mar 10, 2013Great! It's AWESOME! I'll definitely use it! Could you please add the same function for the line above the player. I mean that I can modify the text above the players. Oh and please make it so that I can send different lines above the players to each player.
It would be awesome if that would be possible!

EDIT: Could you add some sort of sample dynamic TabObject? For example, one that has the top line set to say "Players:", then the rest of the tab automatically (with events) sorts the players and adds them to the list?
