SimpleClearChat

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of Minecraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

Description: SimpleClearChat is a plugin that allows you to clear the chat on your server. (All Messages can be edited)

Commands: /clearchat or /cc : Clears the chat /ccr or /ccreload : Reloads the Config

Permissions : chatclear.admin : Allows the player to use all the ClearChat Commands

Installation!

Step 1: Download ClearChat.jar
Step 2: Put ClearChat.jar in your server's plugins directory
Step 3: Reload/Restart the Server
Step 4: You're done!

Configuration!

clearmessage: "§4Chat has been cleared by " (The broadcast Message when a player clears the chat) playermessage: "§eYou've Cleared the Chat" (The Message that gets sent to the player when they clear chat)

Ok actually it only pushes chat up. Anyways great plugin help a bit

I noticed a bug. When you put in the command it only clears so much, when you scroll up some of the chat is still there

what i meant is other ways to do it by letting the owner of the server decide what he wants it to "broadcast". and i will in the near future add some funny stuff like /spamchat "message" and etc.. but ye , the clear reason is a good idea aswell.

What do you mean by better way to clear chat? There is only one way to do this and to replace every single line by " ". Maybe you should add a reason why OP clear chat, like I do in my plugin.
