I was disappointed to learn that /scs amount controls the amount of items the store is allowed to buy from a player, or the amount the player can be sold from the store at once!
Especially when it comes to the Exchange store type, being able to exchange X items for X other items is really an essential feature - take into account the fact that I use an item-based currency (emeralds) and this becomes even more important. First off, you can't make change! 1 emerald is 1 emerald; so I can't even set fractional/decimal prices - whole numbers only. Players relying on villager trading or finding emeralds in the ground are too poor to use the economy on a regular basis. I'd love for them to be able to trade in X gold for X emeralds to be able to acquire slightly faster. Of course this is also useful for players' own shops, to help set a market price.
This is the only thing that keeps be running both SCS and ChestShops - please help me get rid of those ugly signs! :-)
(Additionally: I don't think you should replace the way amount currently works - this should be a feature all it's own. Both things are useful to have.)

There should be a way to specify how much someone will buy and sell in a single transaction without it being one item, or a stack. How that is implemented, I have no idea.
