Config Explanation

Runner V 2.1 now uses a far larger and more complex config file. Here it is explained:

An explanation of each field in the file:

  • username : This is the account the server will log into gmail as, I recommend creTing a new account with a fitting name. I use something like countercraftServer@gmail, choose anything you want, and remember to include the @gmail.com or any google apps served domain.
  • password : The password to the above account
  • admins : This is a list of people who are allowed to send commands
  • users : these are people who are allowed to chat. Everyone in the admin list is automatically in the user list
  • openChannel : Enabling this means that anyone may connect and chat in the channel. However the admins are still the only people allowed to send commands.
  • admin_info : Admin notifications are messages sent by the server to people on the admin list. As of V 2.1 the only notification is weather change. More will come with time, to give remote viewers a better idea of what is happening in the server.

Default configuration file:

users: {[email protected]: Test, [email protected]: Normal guy}
username: [email protected]
openChannel: false
admins: {[email protected]: Webadmin, [email protected]: Admin, [email protected]: alex}
password: YourPassword
admin_info: false
