QuickStick
DISCONTINUED. I don't really have time for this plugin any more. However, if conditions improve, I may continue.
Information
Originally built for Bukkit 1.2.4-R0.1, this plugin allows you to toggle the stickiness of your pistons by right-clicking them with a slimeball. This can be reversed by right-clicking a sticky piston with a stick to return the piston to a non-sticky state.
There are no commands (nor are any planned!) for this plugin.
Permissions
- quickstick.stick - Allows the player to make normal pistons into sticky pistons. Defaults to free use.
- quickstick.unstick - Allows the player to make sticky pistons into normal pistons. Defaults to op, thus preventing slimeball-stealing in survival.
- quickstick.* - Allows the player to do all of the above. Defaults to op.
Compatible CraftBukkit builds
I have no idea which builds are compatible with this plugin, with the exception of 1.2.3 and 1.2.4 builds. If anyone wants to become an official tester, let me know.
Planned features
- Making pistons face the way they did before toggling.
- Making sticky pistons pull extended pistons upon retraction.
- Adding a config to allow / disallow parts of the plugin.
- Adding crushers - two pistons facing each other that crush blocks.
- Any more suggestions?
Thanks to James from RealmReloaded for the awesome logo! Check out his profile on the right.

Yeah, I did look at that, but at the moment, I'm focusing on some other cool features for 0.4. I'm implementing an update-checker and trying to fix the directional bug.

Oh, i know, i meant being able to "pull" back already extended pistons.
Just checked, Minecraft does pull pistons already, but the piston that's being pulled cannot be extended. Check this video on how to do it.

I'm not certain, but I do believe Minecraft does that already, if the piston being pulled isn't extended itself. I'll look into it though. Thanks.
Do you think it would be possible to make pistons stick to extended pistons? You could listen for the piston retract event, and probably use getRelative() to check if there's a piston.
