PunchWood is a PnP (Plug and play) plugin that once installed instantly takes affect, when you try to cut down a tree using any of the axes it will cut down that entire tree, what makes this plugin better than the rest is the fact it has in-built tree detection that stops it from cutting down your house accidentally (if you do come across a problem like this then contact me and I can quickly rectify the problem).
Also, when using this plugin it has different effects depending on your gamemode, if you are in creative then it will cut the tree down without doing any damage to the axe you are holding (as you would expect) whereas, in survival the axe will take damage as the tree is being cut, if your axe goes down to 1 use before breaking, the tree will stop being cut which can allow for you to repair the tool in question!

Commands/Permissions
There is no actual commands as of this moment, just /punchwood which just says the currently installed version and that it was made by me!
Configuration
No config is created with this plugin but one may be added in the future, any things you would like in the config can be suggested below and I will look in to it.
Currently added in next version
- Sneaking will make the axe act like normal (will not cut down the entire tree) - This feature can be disabled in the config
ToDo
- Ability to disable item damage in the config
- Craft "special" axes that can cut down trees in this new way (possibly new ways)
- Get the tree chopping ability through enchanting
- Another way to cut down trees (breaking the bottom block will slowly cut down the tree from top to bottom with every block break)
- Feel free to suggest ideas?

Posted Feb 3, 2014Hey, this looks like a great, light-weight plugin. I'll definitely be using it on my server.
Is there any chance you could add an option to make the amount of time it takes to chop the whole tree down equal to the amount of logs you're chopping? So for example, if I was chopping down a tree with 7 logs, it would take me 7 times longer to chop it than a normal log. Its a feature I've been wanting for awhile, can't seem to find it anywhere.
